I wouldn't be surprised at this point lol. I'd say the Giants are the favorite for the division at this point

Giants got the niners next week, that's probably as close to an automatic L as there is right now......cept for my Vikes apparently (although I think they'd destroy them now tbh.)

In Philly? Def wouldn't say for sure considering the Saints haven't exactly been great this year either. I'm expecting a very close game.

Bradford has looked horrendous outside of a couple deep passes on completely blown coverages. Their running game is still inconsistent & the O Line can't pass block. They're going to be facing a Saints D with a solid line backing group & a d coordinator who is blitz-happy. Not to mention Brees is starting to look like he's getting things together. Eagles are taking an L next week. Giants are prob front runners at this point but even today they looked sloppy. They gave Buffalo so many opportunities to come back & they blew it.

This was a big miss, not going to lie. I expected us to lose to Atlanta but we really needed this win to keep an edge on the rest of the division. Now we kind of just have to hope & pray the rest of the division continues to beat themselves & s--- lol. Next week is a gaurenteed L for us. I almost wish we could just rest our starters (or those that are left lol) next week to prevent any further injuries lol. The BIG game is going to be the Giants game after the bye week. That game right there can make or break our season, especially if the Giants stay hot & stick to this win streak. The one good thing about playing the Giants right after the bye though is that our D will finally be at full strength (McClain & Hardy come off a suspension, Gregory will be back from his ankle injury & Lee/Crawford/Wilcox all who got injured today, should be good to go as well). Also, Dez is supposed to come back vs the Giants so that's a plus, hopefully he can help Weeden out.

As of right now, we probably have like a 35-40% chance of making the playoffs, given our record & injuries. That Giants game is going to be crucial though, we HAVE to win that game coming out of the bye. If we can just win 3 game (Giants, Eagles & Bucs) with Weeden, I think we'll be ok. I think it's possible to with our D being full strength after the bye. Our D has shown glimpses & played really well, injuries are killing us though.

I agree across the board. if we can win 3 out of the next 5, which is very doable considering the reinforcements we have coming, then we have a chance, considering the division we are in. But holy s--- christ can you remember a season thats been as injury-filled as this one? We are without our 5 best defenders atm (counting Lee who left with concussion and may miss more time depending on severity) as well as our 2 best players on the offense/team. Football gods have been merciless to the Boys so far. s----s painful, given the pre-season expectations.

I know... It all started with Scandrick. It sucks to because we managed to stay so healthy last season & we were incredible. This team has the talent to even be better than last year's team, especially defensively. I look at it like this though, say things don't go our way & we only manage winning a game with Weeden over the next 5 games & it doesn't look likely that we'll win the division. f--- it, I say let Weeden finish out the season. Sit Romo, let him fully heal for next season, sit Dez if his foot is still acting up & let him heal for next season. We have a very young squad that can only get better. Worst thing that can happen at that point is we finish sub .500 & get a high draft pick lol. If things fail & go that route, I'd be okay with that. We can use that high draft pick as a bargaining tool to get more draft picks, trade for a star player or draft a star player. One thing is for sure though, it's time for the Cowboys to look for a QB in next year's draft. Its very possible for Romo to continue to play at a high level for a couple more years (look at Brees, Brady, even Peyton even though he hasn't looked great) but I don't know how much more his body can take. We have to have some sort of back up option when he decides to call it a career.

See I get your point, about sitting star players and waiting for next season, and in a lot of ways that makes sense, but it's so hard for me to get on board with that. To me, each season is huge. Romo aint gunna be around much longer, we can't afford to throw a season out the window. You only sit the starters and throw in the towel once we are mathematically eliminated from contention. Idk, its tough.

Yeah, I mean, we'd really have to be in bad shape for me to be on board with that. That's pretty much worst case scenario for this season. Hopefully it doesn't come down to that though because I do think this team at full strength can make some noise in the playoffs.

At full strength, this team can beat anyone. If we make it to the playoffs with decent overall health, my Super Bowl hopes are back on. Just gotta get to the postseason.

Not surprising. Didn't he get a contract extension after last year too?

    Just saw this stat.....

Pats hired Bill Belichick in 2000. Since then the rest of the AFC east teams have combined for 21 head coaches.

yes, but it was only for 1 year, through 2016

i haven't seen any dolphins games this year, except for when they played the redskins--so i can't really comment on what's going on with them.

but i do know that ryan tannehill has gotten better each year he's been in the league. its still early, but i thought the fins would do better, especially after adding suh

    yeah, he looked great yesterday

only one game, but the rams just might have something.

i've been eagerly anticipating watching him in the NFL, mainly due to how good he was in college

i hope he turns into a star---RB's, when they're really good, are one of the most exciting positions to watch in football IMO
