There's a simple formula for every season's schedule lol. There's no conspiracy.

6 games are against your division (2 per team)
4 games are against one of the opposing conference's Division (facing once every 4 years)
4 games are against one of the same conference's Division (facing once every 3 years)
2 games are determined by your placement in your division. If you place 2nd place, you face the rest of the previous year's 2nd place teams in your conference. 3rd place, you face 3rd places, so on and so on.

There's only 2 games that are undetermined before each year. Otherwise, you can find your team's schedule for the next 100 years if you wanted to lol.

Opponents are planned out years in advance, you can even find it online, it's just the specific dates and stuff that the NFL decides.

Hate it when people gotta find conspiracies for everything lol.

By the way, that video is utterly r-----ed.

Penalties are apart of the game. I've played at the college and high school level, and penalties happen. You might get angry at an official, but it's really hard to determine a call when it happens LIVE.

Our coaches stressed to us to maintain good techniques, stay aggressive, and if a ref calls a penalty on us, move on. That's called mental toughness. If you get penalized, you need to move passed it, even if it effects field positioning. If you're a good enough team, you endure... Simple as that.

A lot of you guys don't realize that. It's such a quick, fast paced sport, that refs aren't going to get every call right. It's easy to watch a slow motion replay and go "YEAH THATS DEFINITELY SHOULDER TO SHOULDER! WHAT A bs CALL!"

That's not realistic when you play the game, or officiate a game lol. They don't get to watch replays from 5 different angles in slow motion.

I just hate the RULES of the game, not the officiating.

Ehh the refs could do a better job. Football isn't a fast paced sport lol. It's not that hard to get the spot of the ball right. Missing a call once in a while is one thing, but picking on one team clearly favoring the opponent is suspicious.

Yeah I know the format for the schedules. We've aleady made plans to go to Chicago and Pittsburgh next season from those away games cause we've know those games would be away for a few years now.

If I'm not mistaken that's been the formula since the realignment no?

I'm not trying to be a d-ck, but what level of football have you played at?

I can tell you, plays happen pretty fast on the field as you're playing, I can't imagine how fast it is for refs; watching for penalties AND the spot of the ball.

The Patriots, I believe, are the most penalized team in the NFL right now, and I'd agree with almost all of the calls made by the refs, even the Browner hit...

The PROBLEM is the rules, not the calls. I can't blame the refs for calling Browner with the hit, but I blame the NFL for their rule changes.

Fullback in high school. Anyone can go to some no name college and make the team. That doesn't make you any better. How much did you bench your senior year? I bet money I maxed more than you.

And no football is a slow paced game. You play for 5 seconds then have a huddle. This isn't hockey or soccer or even basketball. Football is known as a slow paced game.

@ASK JEEVz Is American football a slow or fast paced sport?

You made my point by saying a play lasts 5 seconds, therefore making it fast.

I wasn't gonna name all my s---, but f--- it.

I benched 425 3 times in my senior year of high school, I ran a 4.8 40, I played defensive end and tight end, was a 2 time all stater in football, was named to my state's all time football team back in 2006, I was a 4 time state champion in shot put, a new england champion in shot put ( was ranked in the top 20 for two years), led my high school and college teams in sacks and forced fumbles, and still hold my college's record in shot put.

A major ankle injury stopped all of that good stuff though.

425 3 times? Idk man kind of hard to believe that for a high school athlete unless you were 300 pounds in weight. 4.8 in your 40? LOL. I guess that's not too bad if you were a bigger guy. I know a champion state wrestler and great football player before me and he was big as s--- and only benched 340. You might be honest with me, but that sounds like something a patriot fan would say (being influenced by the known spygate era cheating coach belicheck.)

I was only like 230 lbs at the time. I was a freak back then. I just had a horrible ankle injury at practice that f----- everything up (My foot caught in the grass as I was being tackled, and my foot ended up touching my calf and snapped)

When I won most of my titles, I was the smallest one, but I was the quickest and most powerful. I was obsessed with football and track. Outworked everyone. Just had a bad break, no pun.

I'm not going to lie man, I only maxed out 3 reps of 285 (at 165 pounds) my senior year. I had a bad break in football getting a herniated disc and pinched nerve my senior year. I have sciatica pain to this day from my back injury. It slowed me down a lot and never got back into lifting much without re injuring myself.

I mean, those were some impressive stats, but that doesn't change the point of football being an overall slow paced game.

I'd say football is a slow paced game because there's only plays every 30 seconds or so, but when the actual play is going on its definitely fast paced and hard for refs make calls sometimes

I usually hate discussing my accomplishments athletically, because it didn't go anywhere, and bothers me lol.

Thank god I didn't get a back injury though. I pulled my back in a meet one time, and it s----d horribly. I sprain my ankle multiple times a year now, and I only lift to stay in shape, not to be powerful anymore.

Alex Smith is out for the Chiefs this week, pretty big blow to their playoff chances considering they have a rookie as 2nd string who has no NFL experience. Not to mention they are playing a pretty good San Diego Chargers team.

Also, Rodgers has a messed up ankle. He's probable for this week but that could really effect his play, especially vs a Detroit defense that can really go after the QB. Hoping they can pull off the upset.

^They don't have a rookie 2nd string. They have Chase Daniel. Decent veteran backup.

Just realized that, I thought Murray was their back up. Funny thing is Daniel got his one and only start last year with the Chiefs vs the Chargers and he played decently that game. 21/30, 1 TD, 0 interceptions. They lost that game but nonetheless he didn't perform terribly. Chiefs are lucky to be going up against the same team with the playoffs on the line.

If you live in Michigan like me then tomorrow is a big day! I can tell a lot of Lions fans have been super anxious today.

Anyone give the Lions a chance to beat Green Bay? The only way I see them winning is if their D line absolutely dominates GB's O-line. It's not gonna be an easy game though at all.

I hope you're right. I'm a Lions fan but win or lose they're in the playoffs. I want them to lose though so then i'll win $20 haha
