I've been saying this for years, we need to get rid of Phillip Rivers, horrible game. 6 sacks, 3 interceptions two were in the touchdown area. We have been 9-7 3 years in a row

Yeah that's true but even without him hurt he had problems throwing the ball and it seems like he has been just off lately. During the 49ers game, he has thrown it to two people who were wide open on the opposite team, ridiculous. But he looked pretty fine then during that game. But then again if you are hurt why would they put him in

If I'm not mistaken he has a disk related injury to his back, right? Very similar to Romo last year. It's hard to play effectively with that type of injury because d--- near every throw is going to stress on that injury and make it uncomfortable until he has surgery and has it repaired. My best guess as to why they kept him playing is because they thought a 60-70% Rivers was still a better option than their back up lol

I can't believe how bad some of these teams are that have had play-off possibilities.

Just watched San Diego and they were horrible on both sides of the ball, Branden Oliver is one of the worst RB's I've seen this season. Admittedly they had a lot of O-line injuries but putting up 7 points against Kansas on your 'win or bust' game of the season is dreadful.

Then there are the Falcons who are on over here, I know the NFC South is dreadful and one of them will make the post-season with a losing record but how Atlanta are (were) in that bracket is beyond me. Defence is just trash all over, without Julio Jones and Roddy White they would be embarrassing. Matty 'Ice' threw a terrible pick earlier too.

There was a hit in the Pats game, where a Pats receiver got blasted, and it was such a great hit by the Bills, and they called a penalty.

Absolute joke.

There was also a play where Casillas hit Orton, Orton didn't even fall down, but it was an incomplete pass, and they called roughing the passer lmao.

I'd hate to play football now.

@Boos the roughing the passer calls last week in the Eagles vs Redskins game were complete bs. 2 and im pretty sure even the 3rd one were all one drive, all bs calls. you know which ones im talking about?

It's ridiculous. And then the players will whine for a penalty call and receive it, even though they're barely touched. It pisses me off. I don't even like it when it benefits my team.
