If Brady can make something out of Amendola then I wouldn't even think about picking up Welker. Amendola is definitely very athletic and has great potential and on that last drive he was very dependable for Brady. I think he would be fine to help get the pats by if edelman's injury is only a few weeks. And now they have Laffel back who I would assume they will be trying to get more involved.

I was expecting tonight's game to be more entertaining. I picked the Cards for the win in a picks league and was surprised to see the majority pick the Seahawks because of them playing at home. They seem like a complete different team and Russel Wilson is really screwing me around in my fantasy team this year.

Victor Cruz is out for the season due to calf surgery, and Peyton has a torn fascia in his right foot and apparently had trouble walking leading up to the game.

Hard stat to believe but Rodgers is 0-10 in his last 10 road games against winning teams, Packers are on a downfall and Vikings need to put them down a little further next week and really take control of the division. I'm worried the Pack will be all fired up though since they really need a W, this next game will really show if the Packers are done being an elite team(for this season at least) or if this 3 game stretch they've had is a bit of a fluke. They're having lots of problems though.

I don't think it's a fluke, but I also don't think we're in danger of a complete collapse. I see us coming out guns blazing Sunday, good luck Vikings

No team's scored more than 23 on the Vikes all year and Raiders just got held to 14 at home after scoring 34+ in each of their previous 3. Very curious to see how Rodgers does against this D though cuz I still feel the Vikes can be beat on the long ball, Carr only went deep I think twice yesterday and both were long completions.

Also if the bengals let in 12+ points today, then the Vikings will have allowed the fewest points in the league so far.

AP's a lock for comeback player of the year if he keeps this up and could be an MVP candidate if the Vikings keep winning and he keeps playing well.

Agree with AP on MVP, but I'd lean towards giving comeback player to Eric Berry. Coming back from Hodgkins lymphoma > coming back from a "suspension" for whooping your infant son too hard.

Peyton won't be playing next game because something is torn. Broncos are starting Brock Osweiler

    yeah, we're doing good...

but you know what's scary? the ONLY team in the NFL that has less passing yards than the vikings is the rams.

Yeah but I'm not too worried about that. I feel like especially when we get the lead, we just lean on the run game and defense mostly. Teddy doesn't have to be too aggressive or take too many chances.

But with that said the passing game could definitely use a little work still. I do like the conservative approach with the way this D and AP are playing though.

You guys think there's a chance that yesterday was Peyton's last game? I doubt it but who knows.

No but I think they're going to sit him until he's fully healthy, which is probably a good idea. Get him healthy for one final playoff run and then, barring a miracle turn around, have him retire after this season.

    @Boos @Soldier @NyKill

Looks like Bradford is gonna miss at least a game or two. Personally, if Chip plays the best guy, I don't think Bradford will get his job back. The offense looked much better yesterday with Sanchez, other than the one mistake on that pick. He filled in great last season too. Bradford has been a complete bust. I expect Sanchez to remain our starter for the rest of the season.

I doubt that happens no matter how Sanchez plays, Bradford is Chip's hand picked guy. He was finally starting to play decent too. The offense was looking better with Sanchez though. The only problem is he always f---s up when you need him most.

After he slammed his helmet to the turf in frustration and spent considerable time on the Patriots' bench with trainers, Julian Edelman walked from the sideline to the locker room Sunday, and did so without a noticeable limp.

Hours later, though, Edelman found himself in a boot and on crutches with a reported Jones fracture. He will undergo surgery Monday, according to multiple reports.

This is the same injury that Dez Bryant suffered earlier in the season. Here was Bryant's timeline:

    Sept. 14—Dez Bryant has surgery

Oct. 15—Bryant returns for on-field conditioning

Oct. 28—Bryant returns to practice in limited capacity

    Nov. 1—Bryant plays versus Seattle

So, essentially, this was a six-week injury for Bryant. For Edelman, six weeks out would put him in play for Week 16 or 17. If the Patriots earn a first-round bye, their first playoff game would be either January 15 or 16 -- eight weeks out of surgery for Edelman.

I think Amendola can fill that Edelman role until he gets back. He look f---ing great on that final drive yesterday.
