Tonight's game proved that these are still the same old Bengals. No matter what seed they get they'll be one and done in the playoffs.

I love Edelman, but Amendola is more than capable of filling in his spot. Amendola has been great, and makes tougher catches than Edelman does, but Edelman is definitely tougher across the middle.

It's a big loss, but the only two players on offense that are irreplaceable for the Patriots are Rob Gronkowski and Tom Brady. Anyone else can be replaced.

Plus the AFC is God awful.

Nobody in the AFC is going to overthrow the Patriots, as long as their defense keeps playing this way, and Gronk stays healthy.

OK, since you want a real debate as to who's better between the Pats and Panthers, I'll give you some pretty straight forward facts, rather than the typical "PATS ARE BETTER CUZ OF BRADY AND GRONK" argument.

    First off, your division argument....

The AFC East is the only division in football with 3 winning teams, so I don't understand your point.

Pats are 9-0, Jets are 5-4, Bills are 5-4 and Miami is 4-5.

Miami has the same record as the division leader in the AFC South and 4 divisions second place teams (AFC West, AFC South, NFC East and NFC West)

Like, if the AFC East isn't competitive, what division, to you, is? There's really not many great divisions, let alone teams, as you're indicating.

All I see in the NFL this year, is mostly below average and mediocrity. Even the good teams are mediocre.

Also, let's take a look at the Panthers wins...

    Jaguars (3-6) Saints (4-6), Bucaneers (4-5), Texans (4-5) , Colts (4-5), Titans (2-7), Eagles (4-5), Seahawks (4-5), Packers (6-3)

Plus, almost every single game for the Panthers have been close, except the Jags, Eagles and Titans lol.

Now, let's see who the Patriots have faced.

    Jaguars (3-6), Colts (4-5), Jets (5-4), Miami (4-5), Bills (5-4), Steelers (6-4), Giants (5-5), Redskins (4-5), Cowboys (2-7)

The Patriots have faced four teams at, or above, .500, while the Panthers have only faced one team above .500.

So, if I'm not to be impressed by the Patriots, who won the Super Bowl last year, have gone to 4 straight AFC Title Games, and been to 2 Super Bowls in that time, plus had one of the toughest schedules last year, why should I be impressed by the Panthers right now, who haven't been passed the divisional round under Cam Newton, and have barely beaten teams with records worse than the Patriots' opponents?

The Patriots beating the 5-5 Giants yesterday by one point, is much more impressive than the Panthers beating a 2-7 Titans team.

Also, you say the it's "embarrassing" to have a tight end as your star under your QB.

But, what do you call Greg Olson to Cam Newton? lol

And, let's be honest, Rob Gronkowski is ten times the tight end that Olson is lmao.

What stars do the Carolina Panthers have on offense, when they're ranked 28th in the NFL in passing?

Maybe Stewart? Who averages 3.9 yards per carry.

    But, Blount averages 4.4.

I guess we could look at overall defense, but the Panthers are ranked 11th, while the Pats are ranked 15th.

Pats also have the 2nd best rushing defense in the NFL, which is the strength of the Panthers offense...

So, I'd say that that is a HUGE advantage for the Patriots if they were to go head to head, seeing as the Panthers are ranked at the bottom in passing, and the Patriots defend the run better than almost everyone.

Also, both teams are pretty average against the pass on defense, so I don't see how the Panthers would slow down, even an injured, Pats offense. It's not like they're Denver defensively.

Do you want me to keep going?

I think Adrian deserves being a top candidate for MVP. Their qb concerns me a little but definitely a playoff worthy team. They're lucky they held onto AP. Vikings are a solid team though bro and I think you'll see them do some damage in the playoffs.

Yea no point going back to McCown now, he's clearly not in the plans for the future(he'll be 37 this summer) and the Browns obviously have no shot at making the playoffs.

Surprisingly the Texans are only like a game out of first in their division, and Andrew Luck is out. So ya never know.

Seeing you're a cowboy fan I had to man lol nothing personal. And is Romo back this Sunday? I traded Lacy for Dez Bryant 3 weeks ago and need him to start producing better numbers.

Oh sorry I must have missed your post. However, you're a fan of the pats so that post is extremely biased.
Uhh not really. At least the panthers controlled the game and deserved to win it. The patriots were outplayed and an easy dropped interception at the end should have given giants the win. But, you guys DID beat the jets so nm I guess the pats are the best. Why do you guys act like the jets and giants are 2 insanely tuff teams?
