oh that's 100% why. he's good enough to be in the league but not at the expense of all the drama it brings. manziel might find himself in a similar situation in a year or two if he's not careful.

Lions fans really needed a big win like that to boost moral. And to think, some people want us to get rid of Stafford and CJ lol f--- no.

I don't really think chip cares about that type of drama so he didn't make the team solely based on the fact he wasn't good enough. He looked like s--- in the preseason and failed to pick up first downs in short yardage situations and 2 pt conversions from the wildcat so he was useless

i do. obviously the eagles need to play better, but it's just one season man.

coaches are judged on a body of work. that's the point i was trying to get across.

we'll see what happens with chip and the eagles

NFC champion will either be Panthers or Cardinals. As for the AFC, its easy to pick the Pats but idk now since they keep getting damaged with injuries.

Honestly @Soldier I can't handle another Super Bowl loss to them.

And I guarantee it'll be close, and they'll win on some bs.

After Kearse's catch last Super Bowl, I was about to retire my football fan-hood. That s--- was too much to handle...

This is true, but in all honesty, they're getting almost everyone but Dion Lewis and Nate Solder back.

Amendola will be back either Sunday, or the following week, Edelman will be ready by the playoffs, and they're starting to get their offensive line back (they have a ton of depth on the offensive line, so they're trying to figure out which lineup works best). Plus, Vollmer will be back, which he didn't play last game, and that'll be a HUGE boost for them.

Once they get Jamie Collins back from this weird illness, their defense is really going to start dominating. Jamie Collins and Chandler Jones are probably the best players they have on defense.

They've been playing great, but they've been getting killed in the passing game by backs/tight ends, which is usually Collins/Chung's responsibility. Chung has been EXCELLENT this year... So impressed, because I used to f---ing HATE Chung.

They haven't allowed a 100 yard rusher since week two. They've played amazing.

Unlike the last 7-8 years, the defense is totally capable of winning games now.

Yeah and even this season when you two played it wasn't easy. They love to show up against NE. Wasn't their record like 9-7 the one year they beat you guys? I can't remember but I'm pretty sure that the one season they didn't look or show any greatness all season and just showed up in the playoffs

If they can get healthy and return to form I don't see them losing to anyone tbh. Not even the Giants lol

    10-6 in 2007 and 9-7 in 2011.

The last 5 games, we're 2-3 against them, and every game comes down to the final drive.

I honestly don't get it either. In 2011, they weren't even a great pass rushing team like in 2007.

In 2007, I told everyone that the only two teams that could beat the Pats were Colts, Texans and Giants, because of their defensive lines.

In 2011, I really didn't think the Giants would beat us, until Gronk got hurt in the AFC Title Game. That was the equalizer.

This year, I was mostly just kidding when I said I was afraid of them, because they don't have the pass rush, and I really have a ton of faith in our defense... But holy s---... I don't get it now.

It's crazy lol, not being a fan of either teams I love it. Always an entertaining game to watch between the two.

Arizona scares the f--- out of me, and Denver does too.

Denver has the defense to slow us down, but it really depends on Osweiller. If it was Peyton, I was sure that our defense would beat the s--- out of him, because we are excellent against the run, and our pass defense is solid because of our pass rush, and Malcolm Butler's emergence as a legit number 1 cornerback, and how great all of our safeties play (McCourtey, Chung and Harmon are all great back there).

Denver just has a ton of weapons, and if Jamie Collins is still hurt, the Pats defense's weakness is backs/tight ends, because Freeney (although he's great against the run) has been awful in pass coverage.

Arizona scares me because of their weapons and their defense.

Carolina doesn't really scare me. I feel like Pats would wreak havoc on Newton.

    I f---ing hate it lol.

Seriously, Brady could have 6 rings, and could be going for a 7th if Wes Welker caught the ball, Manningham didn't have an insane catch, and the entire last drive in the 2007 Super Bowl... We had that game won like 5 different times on that last drive.

I'll never let go of that 2007 season. 2011, I can deal with...That final drive in 2007 pisses me off. People always talk about Tyree's catch, but the Pats had like 3 dropped interceptions (Meriweather, Asante and Rodney), a forced fumble (Adalius Thomas), a 4th and 1 (Bruschi hit Jacobs in the backfield) and on the Tyree catch, they had Manning sacked, yet he finds a way to escape it and chuck it deep...

f--- the Giants, seriously... Also, Brady said in a radio interview the week after that Super Bowl, that Randy Moss was open all game long. He said there were like 7-8 times that he was going to throw it to him for easy touchdowns, but the Giants hit him before he could get it to him.

They changed their philosophy at the end of the game to the short passes, and they drove with ease. So frustrating.

    UGH.

Yup I remember those games lol, be grateful though, Pat's have been consistently great for years now. The closet I've had to a championship with the Eagles was 04 (f--- you) and 2008 against the Cardinals in the NFC Championship. I remember really wanting that one bad cuz we would have played the Steelers and it would have been cool seeing both PA teams in that game. 2008 hurt more because I was younger in that 04 Superbowl (was like 5-6 years old) and don't remember it as much. NFL Network was playing that game on their channel a few months ago but I couldn't pull myself to watch it

I respect great football, and I just don't see how people can hate on the brilliance of Belichick. The guy really is a f---ing genius when it comes to this sport. I'm just lucky that he coaches my favorite team.

The coolest thing that he's been apart of locally is this thing called the Belistrator... Where he breaks down previous and future games of opponents. Also, his radio interviews are fascinating. You learn so much from them, and how much knowledge he has of the history of the game. The guy can pull up stats and plays from games 40 years ago like nothing. It's insane.

I'll try to find the Belistrator on Youtube, and people will see how f---ing crazy he is when it comes to attention to detail.

I had a ton of respect for the Eagles in the early 2000's. They were a brilliant organization back then and developed such a great system.

I'll have to check it out, sounds interesting.

And yeah, early 2000's they were great. But it took them 4 f---ing years of going to the NFC Championship game consecutively to finally make it to the Superbowl and then the following season shi--ing the bed and dropping to 6-10
