@Fitzy I'm considering going to San Fran next year to see 'The Tom' play, definitely want to see him live at some point. Just really hope he's not injured or suspended if I go cuz that's definitely the main reason I'd be going.

Not sure if it's worth it yet though, may wait on it.

I don't know much about him but he's a beast in madden lol, so I'm guessing it's a good move. Obviously their o line needs work, good start.

He's a very good player. Big strong and athletic lineman that has some nastiness to him that fits well with power blocking scheme but he also plays well in zone blocking. He's versitle and while in SF moved around the line for us quite a bit. He plays guard but I feel hes more suited for the tackle position and I always felt he wanted to play tackle in SF. I don't understand why last year the coaching staff wouldnt play him at RT after Davis retired as it would of been a natural plug in but whatever. Played LT very well when Staley missed a few games.

Undrafted from Ohio St and had a big drinking problem that hes got under control now. Spent first few years in SF on the practice squad and busted his a--- to one of the top guards. Nick name is the rhino.
You guys got a good player and hate to see him go but he wanted out of SF and wouldve cost more than SF was willing to spend to keep him around. Nice addition to pair with Matt Kalil and Teddy should be smiling today.

Can't believe Brock went to Houston. He had a sure thing going in Denver. Wouldn't be surprised if he flops in Houston. That's alot of money for someone who's played 7 career games. $98 million for Brock and Lamar Miller. Yikes.

I was just gonna say that. How many times have we seen this scenario before? A backup comes in and has a few good games, then another team overreacts, gives them millions, and makes them the starter. I can't think of one case where this actually ended well. At least in Denver he had the familiarity of being there four years, knowing the system, and having a GREAT team around him. The best team around him. In Houston he's gonna be expected to be "the guy" and carry the load. Not sure if he's ready for that.

Yeah. In case anyone got confused, I meant contend for the division lol... Not the whole thing. If anything, I see us swooping a wildcard spot. My goal for us this season is to win 10-11 games. I don't think that's too unrealistic.

Yeah I don't blame the guy, but if I was Houston I would've gone after somebody like Fitz, RG3, or Kaep, and if that didn't work out find one in the draft. He's getting paid 10 top QB money lol, that's ridiculous.

On another note Chicago got Danny Travathan from Denver and picked up Massie from AZ which will let Long move back to his more natural spot at RG. A few more pickups and a good draft and I can definitely see them contending for the division this year.

I'm betting RG3 will wind up with the Rams. Kinda ironic since they got so much in the draft trade for him. He'd be an upgrade over the Foles/Keenum debacle.
