New poster to the board here...

I'm a colts fan and so excited football is finally here! Colts reported to camp yesterday. A lot of people are doubting the colts after last year (though going 8-8 with like 5 qbs is probably better than how most teams would have done)

I think with a now 100% healthy Andrew Luck, a finally good offensive line, a way better OC (Pep was an absolute travesty) the Colts offense should be pretty good, probably top 5. My worry is on defense as we have quite a few unknowns and with a new DC (though he was a beast with linebackers in Baltimore). My biggest worry is pass rush, Mathis is the only proven pass rusher we have. Oh well, it should be a better season for my team than it was last year. Good luck to all yalls teams and I'm sure I'll be chiming in here time to time. I love the NFL.

Welcome to the board. Finally have a Colts' fan I can talk s--- to since Skinny B been MIA the last few years and @prison mike barely visits anymore

I've criticized the Colts so much over the last decade with their decision making in regards to defense.

The last two off-seasons have been really confusing to me. You have glaring needs on defense, yet use your last two first round picks on a receiver and a center.

Ever since the early and mid 00's, they overpay on offense, the draft primarily on offense, then suffer defensively.

Sadly, I think you're going to see this a lot with the Colts. They'll have a top 5 offense, and a bottom tier defense. Their franchise has never really balanced the two. They had success in 2006-09 when they were high powered AND had Mathis and Freeney in their prime, with Bob Sanders' abilities covering most of their flaws against the run. However, they haven't really been able to get that lucky the last few years.

Plus, the AFC South is definitely a division that is improving, especially defensively. Honestly, I could see the Colts missing the playoffs for a second straight year because of how the division, and NFL are trending.
