Wait someone actually thinks the Pats would trade Brady? Lol...

Only way that has a chance of ever happening is if a few years from now the Pats are awful and Brady's about to retire and asks to be traded to a winning team. But that won't happen cuz 1. The pats won't s--- and 2. Even if they do I really doubt Brady asks for a trade at that point since he's spent his whole career there.

Definitely think the narrow minded pat fans are over exaggerating calling Brady "one of the toughest" in the league. He looks for a flag every single time he's hit then b------s to the refs about it. You can't deny that he's one of the biggest cry babies in the league.

Patriots are one of the best ran organizations in sports. So yeah its not like trading the great Tom Brady cant happen. We were speaking hypothetically of course. In order for the topic to even come up in their FO Jimmy would most likely have to be 4-0 and lighting up the scoreboard and stat sheet, so playing Brady like. At that point how can you not at least consider it. Trade Brady and stay a contender for another decade or Trade Jimmy and stay a contender for a few more season and hope you can get another QB that shows flashes of what Jimmy dId (if he does of course). We've all seen how far a team can go without a quality starting QB. Loyalty in sports won't get you anywhere, it's better to be to early than too late.

Now of course Jimmy could come out and look like Brian Hoyer and then this conversation is pointless but thats why the topic came up. We won't know until Jimmy plays the 4 games.

A similar comparison is the GB situation with Farve and Rodgers. Living in WI, I saw it all. There was a large percent of fans against the trade and actually heard and saw plenty of so called packers fans cheer when Aaron went 6-10 in his first season. But now even though some packer fans are still salty about trading Farve, you won't find a packer fan now that won't tell you it was the right decision. I actually know a few Packer fans that don't like Rodgers but are happy to have him. Rodgers to them will always be the guy that forced a trade of their beloved Brett Farve.

He's played with broken ribs, separated shoulders, broken fingers, sprained ankles and he was begging to get back out on the field in 08.

Every player looks for flags, that's not a good measurement on someone's toughness. Defensive linemen and linebackers constantly look to refs for flags for holding.

I think it'd be more comparable to Favre/Rogers. Peyton had neck surgery, nobody even knew if he'd play football again.

Lol I thought that kid was going to be an elite DB.

Excited to watch tomorrows game vs GB. Now I'm not saying niners are a playoff team but anyone that's seen their first two games and still thinks they're going to be drafting first next draft is lying. They won't be as bad as everyone is saying.

Pats traded for former 1st round linebacker Mingo (Browns)

Will be interesting to see if they can get anything out of him. Pats are known for motivating players and turning them into productive players...especially with the linebacker position

Pats will never ever ever ever ever trade Tom Brady, even if he was 48 years old and struggling to throw the ball over 5 yards the city would riot, Brett Favre already isn't the best QB to play for the Packers this century and was never anywhere near the god level Brady is in New England

that sucks about romo. i mean anyone getting hurt is obviously not good, but to lose your starting QB before the season even starts is awful. and to make matters worse, they didn't have romo for the majority of last season either

I'd gladly be oppressed like Kaepernick is if I got his $19 million salary and only had to be a back-up QB.

Hate to say it but it might be time for Romo to hang it up. The guy can still play but I don't think his body can take the physicality of the sport anymore. All those years of having s-----y O Lines have finally caught up to him. I'm rooting for the guy to prove everyone wrong but I just don't know anymore. @Riley might be the end for our boy :/

I also see a lot of cowboy fans saying this is a great opportunity for Dak, it could be disastrous as well. Yes, he played well in preseason but it's preseason for a reason. All the starters aren't out there but most importantly, teams don't really game plan in preseason. I've always said that throwing a young QB into the starting position to quickly can destroy their career. I hope that's not the case with Dak.

People were hyping them up because they signed so many big name free agents but that hardly ever works out for teams lol.
