    for a backup, josh mccown isn't bad. they actually considered starting him.....but in the end they went with griffin because he's obviously much younger and at this point his ceiling is higher.

    will be interesting to see how mccown does. i'm not expecting much because he's older now......but when you're talking back-up QB's......you could do much worse than mccown

    I like McCown as a back up too but it'll be interesting to see how he can do behind that Browns team that doesn't have much.
    Who's the big time QBs in the draft next year? (I don't follow college)
    I hate to tell a team to think tanking after Week 1 but I think most expect the Browns to have that spot anyway.... at least now they have someone like Hue Jackson who I think could break that curse of Browns QBs if he got to make that call/raise that QB in his system.

    Adrian Peterson's last 7 games:
    132 carries for 397 yards (3.0 YPC), 19 1st downs, 3 TDs
    His 5 longest runs:
    39, 21, 10, 10, 10

    Peterson's gotta step the f--- up, he usually kills the Packers so if he sucks again this weekend it'll be real concerning. Gotta stop dancing behind the line so much looking for the big play, there were a few instances this weekend he could have powered through a hole for 5-6 yards, instead he was looking for the big play and lost a few yards.

    there are some awesome matchups this week.

    -steelers vs. bengals
    - cowboys vs. redskins
    - packers vs. vikings (first real game at new stadium)

    all these are great rivalries..... especially that bengals/steelers matchup. you guys remember how intense that playoff game was between them last season?

    i'm going to be flipping back and forth between steelers/bengals and skins/cowboys. i gotta see those games!

    It's crazy how far Revis fell off since 2014.

    Looking back I'm glad we didn't re-sign him or Browner, but I was heated when he went to the Jets.
