lol at Goodell and all the NFL owners who pushed him to stick it to Brady.

Legit the best thing they could've done for this franchise. We now know that the train rolls on post-Brady, maybe not to the same level but they'll still be in the playoffs every year.

Jimmy G is a good QB that looked great in Belicheck's system. They proved tonight they can win with anyone. So while Jimmy is good, he wouldn't look anywhere near as good on another team I wouldn't give up a 1st rounder for him.

I wouldn't give up a 4th rounder for Sam Bradford. You obviously missed the throws Jimmy was making in the first half of the Miami game. Jacoby wasn't even comparable.

    Here you go

For one, I hated when we traded for Bradford and always hated him as our QB. Two, I think we actually gave up a 2nd on top of Foles lol. But we got a 1st rounder and a guaranteed 4th rounder that can turn into a 3rd or 2nd back for him, so all in all we traded Foles and a 2nd for a 1st and a 4th. Can't complain. The Vikings on the other hand are idiotic, even more so now that AP is done.

Jimmy G is the real f---ing deal and I hope to god he's comfortable just riding it out for the next 3 or so years.

Its gonna get messy. Hes only signed through next year and I don't think franchising him in 2018 is an option, while Brady starts making 3X less then him.

I said after the Miami game, and really just aiming at Brady's end in general, is not going to end well. I think the whole "quarterback controversy" is actually going to get some legs soon enough.

If Brady has 1 bad game or even below average game I'm sure some people will be calling for Jimmy G already.

Yea i'm torn personally between not wanting the Brady era to end and not wanting to lose Jimmy. I think if Brady wins one more he'll be ok with calling it a career after 2017, because their are still dummies out there saying Montana > Brady based on Montana going 4-0 (like props for losing earlier in the playoffs, instead of in the SB ) but if he gets to 5 then hes the only one who has done that and I think it will be enough for him.

Call ins to local radio has already been starting this s---.

Brady's probably going to be off his first couple games. He hasn't been able to be around the facility or anything.

Anyways, Pats traded Matt Cassel for a 2nd round pick, and Jimmy G is so much better than Matt Cassel was. Plus, Cassel had Moss. Jimmy hasn't even had Gronk lol.

I hope they don't trade Jimmy G. I think he's the future of the franchise post-Brady.

However, in saying that, you have to let Brady play/ride this out. This isn't a situation where Bledsoe struggled in the system. To me, you need the insurance since Brady is older.

However, it's about putting the best team forward to chase a Super Bowl title, and even though Jimmy G has been great, I think Brady is still better at this point of their careers.

I think they'll trade Brissett tbh.

I'd like to see Bill take the worst QB's in the league, work with them for 10 days or so, and then throw them in a game to see what they do.

I see a lot of people discrediting Brady because of the Pats success, which I think is stupid.

That's like saying Gronk isn't that important because we've won without him lol.

Matt Cassel was a below average to average QB, and they game managed him for most of the year in 2008. Bill is a mastermind when it comes to game management, X's and O's, game preparation, scouting, etc. The Pats from top to bottom always have good players. Plus we had an easy schedule that year, PLUS we had Moss lol.

Jimmy G reminds me of Brady, I've said it since 2014 pre-season. He is the best QB we've had since Brady, hands down.

Cant imagine being Dolphins, Jets, or Bills fan the last 15 years. I mean at least when SF was running s--- in the 80s and 90's the Rams had some serious contending teams. And when the Cowboys were dominating the 90's the Giants and Redskins were right there too. Pats have owed that division 1 decade and a half. A f---ing decade and a half. Lol.

no doubt that winning a game in the fashion that the pats did with a 3rd string QB and without a couple of their key players is very impressive

but i think you guys are jumpin the gun on Jimmy G. don't get me wrong, i'm not saying he won't be a good QB in the NFL--but some of you have already put him in canton lol

2 games isn't exactly a large body of work, guys. some of the QB's who are currently in the hall of fame played poorly and lost their first two starts in the NFL

But you're the guy who insinuated he was a bum based on 7 on 7 drills, said he had no shot against the Cardinals and said they would be 1-3 without Brady. You're gonna talk about jumping the gun?

Probably pipe down Timmy, you've lost permission to speak on The Jimmy.

@Heisenberg , I know you're a niners fan but can't remember if you're from the bay area or not..If you're not then ignore this post, but if you are I'm wondering what the best way to get from the airport to the game is. I'm thinking either an uber or the light rail, I've never even used an uber and I'm worried traffic could be bad since people will be going to the stadium from all over I'm sure. The light rail I did some research on and it sounds like they sell these round trip passes for $20 for the games but it sounds like they only include 3 stops for the round trip, and the airport isn't one of them..So I don't know if I can still use the light rail easily anyways or what..

You have any experience or heard anything about what the best idea here would be? I'm basically just flying in for the game, then back out later that night so no hotel or anything, straight to the stadium when I get off the plane. Thanks in advance for any help.

when i say things like jimmy GARBBAGEopolo that's obviously just me trying to get a rise out of you.

me claiming that the patriots would lose on the road without brady isn't a far-fetched claim. the cardinals were in the nfc championship game last season. and the pats we're without gronk, ninkovich and of course tom brady. i know for sure that most ppl had them losing that game

i'm pretty sure i said the pats would lose 2 games without brady. either way, the point is i don't have a problem admitting when i'm wrong about something. after all, the NFL is notoriously unpredictable.

learn not to take everything personally redsoxx, it makes you look really bad.
