Our team is so shotty at best man, can't tackle, can't run stop, Kirk is streaky and when he's cold he's ice cold. The D relies a lot on turnovers for stops (which makes sense cus the D itself isn't fooling anyone they're not that great, have a few playmakers but that's it). We have talent, undeniably and that's usually what bails us out when we do turn it around. Skins are forever a frustrating watch but what can ya do... gotta stand by your team lol.
I like the progress in the Red zone and the run game today though. I been telling whoever will listen Matt Jones is no joke, let's ride him more.
That said I gotta give credit to the Browns, not just this week but most of their games they have fought HARD. Hue is coaching them up really well but ultimately it falls down to what many were saying going in: They just don't have enough to seal the deal. That team has very little in general. Give Hue time and talent and I do think that Browns team can finally turn a corner; BUT that seems to be asking a lot of that Browns organization to have patience with a building process..

browns had their opportunities, but they blew it. they fumbled TWICE when they were moving the ball at will. unacceptable.

redskins did a good job of taking advantage of those turnovers. but neither of these teams looked good on defense.

still a pretty entertaining game. and that flag they called on josh norman after he made that interception was BS---all he did was a bow and arrow celebration--flagging him for that is so petty.

Christ that was hard to watch. Don't think I've seen a worse game. However, if you told me in August we'd be 3-1 I'd be very happy. On to Cleveland.

Thoughts on this week:

Julio is scary. Wanted him to break the record but he didn't. I had Matty Ice on my FF bench, but I'm up by forty anyway so it's fine.

Crabtree is on my FF. Carr is a stud and Crabtree has godly hands.

Watching this Cowboys game. That first quarter was stressful as f---, but we've controlled everything since then. Dak and Zeke just don't look like rookies and I love it.

Another good win for us. If someone would have told me before the season that the Cowboys would start the season 3-1 without Romo, McClain, Gregory and Lawrence, i'd tell them they're crazy. Dak continues to look really good, he looked a bit off at the start of the game though. Zeke is really finding his groove in this offense though. Back to back 120+ yard rushing games and we're missing two starters on our o line (Smith and Collins). Defensively we still struggle to get pressure on QB'S. Thank god Lawrence comes back next week, he'll provide at least one pass rushing threat or at least draw double teams so others can get in the back field. Claiborne looks like a man reborn. He's gotten a lot of s--- from Cowboy fans for his poor play and a lot of it is warranted but so far this season, he's played pretty well. This was probably the best game of his career today.
