for the record, i think its a tough decision on whether to let romo play when he's healthy OR continue to playing dak.

the reason i brought up the money is because romo gets paid like that for a reason (he's proven for a while he's really good). just like back up players are backups for a reason.

now, sure, there are exceptions.....like @Kon mentioned with Kaepernick making millions and on the bench......but generally speaking guys who get paid like romo are going to be in the starting lineup

It's pointless. Some of you don't understand this, but by switching QB's mid-season, it can mess up the continuity with the receivers, the blocking assignments, and cadence of the entire offense. Romo isn't Brady or Rodgers. They aren't going to be immensely better with Romo at quarterback.

If blocking assignments is the biggest issue you have with Romo coming back in, I'm not worried lol. Dak is comfortable with offense, he's shown that. I'm comfortable in him coming in at any moment. Switching QB's can be a mess when you're not a very good football team. I think the cowboys have show that they're pretty good to say the least.

To each their own. I find it to be an unnecessary move. I'd let Dak improve instead of stunting his growth for the future. I said the same thing in terms of Bledsoe/Brady, by the way. I honestly don't think Romo can stay healthy, hence why it's important to transition from him.

Watching your vikings reminds me of the 2011 49ers, 03 Bucs, and 00 Ravens. I never saw the 85 bears but those other 3 squads were the best overall defenses I've seen. Just dominant.

@Kenneth i follow what you're saying. they're winning right now....so why switch things up. i get that.

but even if they put romo back in and they lose/start losing..... it doesn't nessacarily mean its because of tony romo. he could be playing well and they could lose because of the defense or whatever.

as i said, i'm not leaning strongly in either direction-- in my opinion its a tough decision. brett favre said that dak should continue to play until he struggles--then put romo in.


there are some good matchups this weekend IMO. skins vs. eagles and cowboys vs. packers and falcons vs. seahawks are all awesome matchups

with the vikings on a bye........i'm gonna watch that skins vs. eagles game for sure
