I think what Timmy was saying is that Sam Bradford is the equivalent of a 3rd string qb

besides the point. the only reason i mentioned that is to illustrate that one loss doesn't hold that much weight when a team like new england is clearly playing well

as i said earlier, it doesn't matter to me if boos or fitz don't believe in the vikings. my issue is neither of them are making good arguments. boos is talking about how terrible bradford is when his performance doesn't match that. and he put the eagles over us...which at the time wouldn't make much sense.

we obviously didn't do too good tonight. defense had a bad night. we'll have to re-group

Timmy your argument is based on Bradford playing way over his head for his first 4 games. You guys can't run the ball, and your line is garbage. Bradford isn't the QB to put a team on his back, which is what he has to do. The Eagles are better than the Vikings, and no one fears the Vikings anymore. You guys got exposed, the honey moon is over lol

Timmy comparing the Vikings to Patriots LMAO
Your arguments make ZERO sense Timmy.

You claimed that the Vikings were the best team in the NFC. You want good arguments for why they are not? Well, OK.

First, the Vikings defense is legit (aside from tonight), I'll give you that. They have the ability to stop any offense.

However, they do not have a great, nor good, nor average. You have a POOOOOOR offense. Want evidence? Check the stats.

#32 in rush offense, #31 in pass offense, #32 in total offense.

The number 31 offense in the NFL is the Giants, and the Vikings have 700 yards less than them lmao.

You might go "LOL Fitz Denver won the Super Bowl with virtually no offense"

Well, actually Timmy, Denver was rated 16th in the NFL in total offense in 2015. They had a decent passing attack and decent run game. Vikings have neither.

Then you reference the Patriots (LMFAO) in your argument to not count out the Vikings.

Timmy, the Patriots are the model franchise in the NFL for 2 decades. They have a total of ZERO losing seasons since 2001. Not only that, but they have made the conference championship game for 5 years straight, been to 2 Super Bowls and won 1 in those 5 years.

The Vikings have only made the playoffs 5 times since 2001, and haven't made it passed the wild card round the last 6 seasons.

Oh, let's not forget that, yes the Pats lost to Buffalo, but they had, arguably, the greatest quarterback of all time, and probably the current NFL MVP returning the following week in Tom Brady, while the Vikings don't have ANYONE returning to save them on the offensive side.

Vikings are not the best team in the NFC, I'd rank them 4th, behind Dallas/Seattle and Philly at 3.

There's your cold hard facts, now take this L like the Vikings just did to Jay Cutler "lolololol"

A lot of what you said was unnecessary and irrevalent. Why are you talking about stuff in 2001? Why are you taking about how many times we've made the playoffs? None of this is relevant to the conversation we're having.

I said before the Bears game that we were the best team in the NFC. If you don't agree, that's fine......but it's not far fetched

Good job dodging all those other "irrelevant" stats I brought up, which ironically, were before your Bears game lol.

I said it because you made the idiotic comparison that the Patriots losing to the Bills is the equivalent of the Vikings losing to the Eagles, and that, since we're not dismissing the Patriots' positioning in the AFC, that we shouldn't dismiss the Vikings' positioning in the NFC.

The Vikings have nowhere near the clout that the Patriots have, nor the year to year consistency/dominance, so yes, it's definitely relevant. The Patriots are THE standard in the NFL/AFC. Them losing to Buffalo without the best QB ever wasn't going to change that lol.

Also, another point is that the Vikings have NO ONE to save their offense. The Patriots, after the loss to Buffalo, knew they were getting Tom Brady back.

That's two reasons that your argument was dumb.

Also, Vikings were exploited (like @Boos and @Soldier said) because they hadn't faced an elite defense all year until they faced the Eagles. The Eagles defense showed how inept the Vikings offense truly is.

Now, imagine the Vikings facing off against the Seahawks in Seattle lol. They'd get f---ing destroyed.

That's why they're not the best team in the NFC, and shouldn't be considered. Plus, I HIGHLY doubt they can beat the Cowboys, since the Cowboys have a top 10 defense and an absolutely dominating offensive line. And... well... we already saw what happened when they faced the Eagles.

A better argument would be if the Vikings are the top team in the NFC North, because the Packers are only 1 game back.

So I'll take my W again

your comments about our offense struggling were good points if you're making an argument against the vikings. stuff like that is crystal clear. the stats indicate that we are struggling offensively and anyone can see that.

the rest of what you said about could we beat this team or that team is nothing but speculation. nobody really knows. only time will tell.

you made some good points, but when you go on these long posts that you're oh so known for.........you often weaken your own argument..........because you bring up irrelevant stuff that has nothing to do with conversation like mentioning how many times we've made the playoffs since 2001 lol

all i said was that the Vikings were the best team in the NFC. if even ppl don't agree......it ain't all that crazy of a statement. we'll see what happens with the vikings in the second half of the season

Man I'm pretty concerned though, not gonna lie. We just got absolutely smoked by a banged up 1 win bears team. The score should have been a lot worse, Chicago could have easily had 14 more points and the Vikes basically got their 1 TD by taking 10 yard passes the bears were giving them all the way down the field.

Plus the obvious concern, the o line doesn't have much hope to improve. Jake Long is still new so maybe he learns the offense a little better and improves slightly but Clemmings has been consistently horrendous and gets beat almost every time on the pass rush and Boone who was actually doing okay got injured now too.

D and special teams isn't getting the 2-3 big plays a game they were getting earlier in the year either, there's definitely a lot to be worrierd about and even the playoffs are far from a guarantee at this point.
