so what exactly happened to Blake Bortles wasn't people somewhat hopeful for him after last season?

after last season, it seemed as if he was trending in the right direction. but its obvious that he's taken a step back this year.

he has some talent around him too. its not like the jaguars don't have any weapons. their WR's are pretty good. but it takes more than that and i guess they just haven't gotten on the right track.

i really thought the jaguars would AT LEAST be a 7-8 win team this year, but that doesn't appear likely at this point. it seemed as if they were slowly moving in the right direction, but now i'm not so sure...

Yeah thats what I mean cus I heard the talk of Bortles being on the rise and of course seen all the Jaguars moves this past offseason so I was bit thrown off by it. I mean free agency moves truly benefiting is never set in stone I get that aspect of this but you'd think since Bortles did seem to have himself and in turn the Jags trending in the right position there wouldn't be such a clear fall off the map drop off with all the additions lol.
Maybe its the young QB, learning to be the face of the franchise while learning how to lead on the field and in the locker room, or like you alluded to, chemistry. Or just....ya know.... Jags... lol

I saw them around the same margin win wise, maybe even stumble into a playoff spot off the back of a s-----y AFC South (which considering their early projections and this season playing out... is it that hard to see ppl believing? lol). Clearly the Titans assumed that role this year lol.

really think cowboys need to start romo the closer we get to playoffs. seasoned vet that can still sling the ball with a great offensive cast AND can read a defense as well is a beautiful thing. Dak has been playing out of this world as a rookie (as we know) but no reason to keep Romo sitting especially when hes getting payed

Trent Williams is out too and he's your best player regardless of position. I think it'll be pretty close.....can't see either team winning by a lot.

You guys got other weapons.....but williams and Jackson are huge losses. Williams is one of the best at his position and he plays one of the most important positions on the field

Jackson takes the top off the D and has been a consistent WR for years

Tbh we got a backup T, who with starter reps this week in practice shouldnt be a total liability
Dude T Will top 2 T in the game tho so its understandable u thinkin that, I dont disagree
BUT jackson, regardless of his #s this year draws a safety ever time nd crowder n reed become 1-1 matchups

Essentially we go from a guy like jackson to a guy like Ryan Grant smfh...like I said yall caught a huge break

I really hope we start to take advantage of vernon n reed running out wide together to counteract

Linval missed practice 2 days in a row so it's not looking good for him this week. O line did slightly better last week, but the 2 games before that were awful so who knows.. I think the best I can hope for is the o line is average lol, we'll see.

Not really sure what to expect this week but it's basically a must win as far as I'm concerned, otherwise no playoffs this year most likely.
