    Naw I don't actually, what happened?? I do remember the super bowl though, Pats were getting destroyed by 25 late in the 3rd, game was boring and a blowout so I turned it off.

    Yeah the whole point apparently was to "reduce risk of player injury" but what is 5 minutes going to do? lol. and I understand you want to minimize risks but this is a contact sport, there is only so much you can do. s---, you can pay me 20 mill and I'll go get the s--- kicked out of me each season no problem. Just another 5 minutes of commercials now.

    so apparently richard sherman still hasn't been able to let go of that superbowl loss. and him and russell wilson have a little friction between themselves. maybe that's why sherman was rumored to be traded in the off-season. hmmmmm

    This is true. I actually read a pretty good suggestion the other day for the NFL to try to reduce injuries. Expand the length of the season and give teams more bye weeks. I'd be totally fine with teams having even 4 bye weeks if it meant player health would improve. Also, get rid of Thursday night games unless it's for special occasions (thanksgiving). I think giving player's bodies more time to heal between games is essential.

    Or since they have a contract with cbs for a few more years for TNF, at least give the teams a bye week before hand

    chiefs losing maclin leaves them pretty bare at WR. but at least they have kelce. i know he's not a WR, but the point is he's a good receiving target

    as far as likely destinations for maclin, i would say san fran or chicago

    d---, saints defensive tackle nick fairley was told by a doctor to give up football because of a heart condition. but he's going to get a second opinion. as bad as the saints were on defense last year, he was one of the bright spots

    Sad to hear. Remember watching him play for Auburn's national championship team... I remember he was being hyped to go #1 for a tad bit after that game. Crazy and sad that injuries have derailed his career. Wishing him the best. Had no idea he was on the Saints now tho. I only ever remember him in Detroit.
