Random question: for those of you that live on the east coast or closer to the east coast, do you like that football starts later for you guys or would you prefer it to start earlier? Only asking because I love how on Sunday's football starts at 10am here on the west coast. It's like almost as soon as I wake up, I have football to watch & it's great. It's great for scheduling also, like if the cowboys play at 10am, game is over at 1pm & I basically have the rest of my day to do whatever. Even if they play at 1:30, game ends around 4ish, still got a good chunk of my day to get s--- done.

i like the central time zone, im from the east coast mostly, the best because than the games start at 12 and i dont feel weird about going to the bar and watching the games. If they started at 10 id feel f---in weird. Also 1:00 is just too late cuz than games end at like 7 and it just like f--- the day's over

the browns are snake bitten. they can't buy a break.

@Enigma i'm use to the games starting at 12 or 1, as i've never lived on the west-coast....so i have no idea what its like for the games to start at 10 in the morn

this is a topic i'm indifferent on. however, i will say this. i'm not a church goer, but obviously a lot of people are. and if you live on the west coast and you go to church, you're probably missing a large chunk of the earlier games....

Now I love 10 am start times cuz I work at 3 pm so I can still watch the whole game when the Vikes play early which they mostly do.

But when I lived in Minnesota and didn't have a job I loved the noon start times too, so I dunno just depends. Guess I don't really care as long as I can watch the game lol.

I have gone to a bar a couple times though for the 10 am starts and yeah it felt a little odd drinking at that point, they got their breakfast menu out as I'm sipping on a jack and coke lol.

I come home on weekends and go back to college Sunday. The time works out almost perfectly where I can wake up, get ready and pack, watch the 1 o clock game, head to campus and miss the 4pm, then watch Sunday night football

It doesn't really matter cuz during the season we pretty much plan everything around watching Football on Sunday, it's like going to church.

One could argue he was the MVP last season. It's a shame he got hurt. Would've been a dangerous team in the playoffs.

I'm optimistic about this season though. I'm worried we might barely miss the playoffs. I think we have a better team than last year, but we'll finish with a worse record. Our schedule is harder, the division got better, and we won something like 7 games on 4th quarter comebacks last season. It's easy to see how lucky we were last season. Maybe I'm wrong though. Maybe that was all Carr and Del Rio's magic and we're gonna be even better. Who knows. Scary matchup week 1.

I love the games starting at 1 EST. I get to wake up and watch all the pregame shows and stuff, mess with my fantasy lineup, get some type of game day food together, or potentially meet up with my friends at the bar. Then, obviously, go full in watching the eagles. I can't watch with people who a) don't shut the f--- up, or b) don't know football. I actually prefer to watch the Eagles by myself or family, but since all my siblings are away at school, I just watch with my friends. Then usually go out and toss a ball at the half, watch the post game press conferences, and get some beers for the 4 o'clock games. Not gonna lie though, MNF kinda sucks on the East coast because I'm exhausted the next day.

What's everyone's early Super Bowl prediction and season MVP?

    Season MVP: Aaron Rodgers
Super Bowl: NY Giants vs. NE Patriots 3

Idk why but I'm feeling that third SB matchup and I think the Giants take it again. The AFC is terrible right now it's tailor made for the Pats to win again. The Bills, Dolphins, Jets, Browns, Colts, Jags, Broncos, & Chargers will all s--- a---. Ravens, Bengals, Steelers, & Titans should all be decent. The only team I see to challenge them is the Raiders. The NFC could be NY, Atlanta, or GB, but I feel like the Giants' defense will take them all the way to the SB this time.

Yeah well f--- the celtics, broke records for being blown out the worst in the playoffs in nba history LMAO and f--- the pats more.

Hopefully chiefs can pull this through. And @Enigma this game tonight doesn't start until 8:30 for me and that's too late for me and would rather it start at 730-8. It's hard to stay awake for the whole game when I'm up at 5:30 am everyday for work.

Out of my 5 fantasy football leagues, I have Hill, Cooks, Tom Brady playing tonight. Also I didn't actually draft Brady because Ik he's falling off any week due to age. I'm in one keeper league and last yrs draft I got Brady real late since he was out for the beginning of season and figured mise well keep him so I only lose a late draft pick.
