Can't understand why Tomlin is on the hot seat as coach, but then again I've watched Marvin Lewis coached teams for over a decade so there's that

Because look at all the talent Tomlin has and comes up short every year. This is once in a lifetime thing for us Steelers fans having Bell, Brown, Ben on the same team and not a ring to show for it. Ben is out of his prime now and in a few years so will Bell and Brown probably. Tomlin has one ring that he didn’t earn because he walked into a team that was already established and good. He hasn’t rebuilt the defense in all his years coaching and defensive coaching is supposed to be his strong point.

We're tired of his s--- talking every year too to only come up short. Why would he say about the Steelers/Pats championship whenever they’ve been shaky all year. Then he thrashes his own player that actually fought in Iraq because he stood for the anthem? Tomlin telling Ben to throw hail marrys on 4th down in the playoffs? That one td on 4th down by Brown was all brown and luck. Steelers just don’t need Tomlin and I thought while they got rid of Todd it would have been a good time to get rid of Tomlin too.

Belichick drafted Hernandez with a smirk on his face knowing he was a g--- member. Belichick wanted rid of your idol Brady for Jimmy after this year. That’s how cold he is. And Tomlin was actually trying to get out of the way. When someone’s coming at you and you jump back, your one foot scientifically goes forward while the other goes back assisting your whole body to move back.

In all seriousness though, what is your opinion on that matter? Would you have been fine with Brady leaving after this year for Jimmy to take over? Idk if I heard you talk about this. I understand on Krafts part remaining loyal since Brady took pay cuts for the benefit of the team. And it’d be hard to let someone like Brady go but once you hit 40 he’s not going to recover from an injury too well. He was slowly falling off end of season. Couple analysts think Belichick is leaving the pats after this season because of it. What really went down?

If I were Kraft, I probably would have traded Brady, since they had a lot of faith in Jimmy taking over for the pats and he already knew the system. Ik easier said than done but if Brady really does get hurt or falls off this will look extremely bad on Kraft. Curious to see what happens next season.

People need to get their facts straight bout Pats' "cheating". Just do quick research. Here are facts that a quick Google/Wikipedia search will clear up.

    Deflategate:

Chris Mortensen first reports/tweets that Pats had 11 of 12 footballs deflated 2 PSI below legal limit. Internet goes crazy. However, a YEAR later, ESPN corrects it's story, and admits that they falsely accused Patriots, and Mortensen deletes his tweet.

Need a direct source? Well, OK here you go:

    https://nesn.com/2016/03/espn-finally-adds-clarification-to-original-deflategate-11-of-12-report/

    Oh wait, need another one?

    https://nesn.com/2016/03/espn-public-editor-deflategate-was-mismanaged-by-worldwide-leader/

    OK, so now moving on

    Spygate:

It was legal to film defensive hand signals up until 2007. The NFL came out with a memo saying that teams could legally film hand signals, but not on the sideline. Pats ignored this memo and got caught doing it in the first quarter of the first game of the season. They got penalized for Belichick's arrogance, but is this really cheating if it was done years prior?

Wait, you need a source? Well, s---... Here's the wikipedia page to Spygate lol.

    https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/2007_New_England_Patriots_videotaping_controversy

Oh, and here's a direct quote, if you don't feel like clicking the link...

"The 2007 New England Patriots videotaping controversy, widely dubbed "Spygate",[1][2] refers to an incident during the National Football League's (NFL) 2007 season when the New England Patriots were disciplined by the league for videotaping New York Jets' defensive coaches' signals from an unauthorized location during a September 9, 2007 game. Videotaping opposing coaches is not in the NFL de jure, but there are designated areas allowed by the league to do such taping."

    Final accusation

I don't feel like typing out the incident, so here's ESPN apologizing to the Patriots for another false accusation.

They couldn't keep Jimmy. I loved Jimmy G, but there was literally no way for them to keep him. If Brady was playing bad? Sure. But he was playing at an elite level.

And Brady really only had one bad game during the end of the year lol, and that was the Miami game. He looked really good all other weeks.

I don't really care either way, but I've played football at high school and college level, and one of the biggest things that a coach tells you on the sideline is to "BACK THE f--- UP" so you don't get a penalty flag for being on the field (there's a chalked line that coaches and players have to stand behind).

Tomlin definitely knew lol. He was being as arrogant as Belichick was being by videotaping signals from the newly unauthorized area.

The only form of "cheating" that I really care about is HGH/steroids. I don't even mind stick em anymore because the gloves that players wear nowadays are pretty sticky lol.

Like, I didn't even care about Falcons pumping in crowd noise.... Teams practice against this type of s--- anyways...

You’re right. I’ve played football too as a tailback and know the rules. My high school coach was real strict with standing behind the chalk line. I didn’t play college though. Could have for a few s-----y local college teams, but I was too small to be a rb at a decent college and I’m pretty beat up now so kind of glad I didn’t play further.

I believe Tomlin was just in lost in the moment at that time. It can happen. I don’t think he was purposely trying to interfere with the returner. And look at the returners left arm while going by Tomlin in slow motion, looks like he almost tried throwing a punch at Tomlin. Now I’ll a admit if Belichick did that espn would be jizzing all over it, because of his history. Tomlin wasn’t known as a cheater. Patriot fans are really the only ones that ever bring up Tomlins accident.

I don't really care either way. Like I said, I think the cheating s--- is really overblown in almost every instant in the NFL. I really just hate HGH use. I don't think pumping in crowd noise, deflated footballs, inflated footballs, heating footballs, stick em, etc really matter that much to game preparation or game play.

Only thing that bothers me about the Patriots' cheating allegations is the misinformation. It's like people read headlines by unreliable sources and just run with it. It's so annoying lol.

Spygate was justified, as far as the penalties enforced. Belichick was arrogant as f--- about it, and cost us a first round pick. However, it wasn't cheating lol.

Deflategate was a witch hunt. It ended up working out for us, by giving Tom 4 games off last year, but still. There was no basis for the NFL to penalize the Pats like that, or to even penalize us at all. Completely bs.

Okay, I'm going to throw out some stats. I did this last week and the game ended up being terrifying. The Saints were a really good team. Better than their stats indicated.

This left tackle, Halapoulivaati Vaitai has been absolutely brutal this year. His PFF rating is about the same as T. J. Clemmings of last year. As Vikings fans, we know that this dude cost us at least two games single handily. As a whole, the Eagles have a better offensive line than Minnesota but our best player on the defensive line has a monster advantage. Either they send a lot of help, or Everson feasts.

The Eagles offense has averaged 280 yards or so since Foles took over, which would be good for last in the league.

And the Giants put up 500 yards on that defense by completely abandoning the run, using a dink and dunk offense. Hopefully Pat realizes this and employs a similar strategy.

Yeah if they try to run it a ton early, might be some 3 and outs..gotta open it up and pass the ball..O line needs to give Case some time to do this though.

But lol @ that TJ Clemmings comparison, god he was so awful.

Yea, no. Big V has not been "absolutely brutal." He's had an up and down year but is perfectly capable. You're making it seem like he's complete trash. You can crunch stats to work in whatever favor you want that's why you can't put all your stock into them

Up and down but he's gave up the second most sacks in the league for a LT despite playing in what, 10 games?!

Vikings defense is amazing. Best in the league. Except after a turnover. If the Vikings throw an INT or fumble the ball, they gave up points on 11/13 drives that didn't end in a kneel down. 7 TDs, 4 FGs, 1 punt, 1 stop on downs.

This week is taking too long otherwise!

Sucks for @Boos though, he's less than two days from taking that stupid German Shepard mask off, and being a Vikings fan.

Vaitai f---ing sucks. Garbage. Idk how any eagles fans can be half cocky when Nick Foles is your qb. Dudes trash. I would honestly rather have Brock Owsweiler starting or Manziel I think
