    Question: does the success of the eagles without Wentz diminish Wentz’s value or accomplishments this season? I mean, they could very well win the whole thing with Nick Foles.

    I don't think so. The defense was always a big part this year with or without Wentz at qb and Foles played at a high level tonight. If the eagles win the superbowl, wentz is almost just as much a part of that as Foles

    Fair point. Another question: would the eagles still be in this position if Wentz was QB? The easy answer here is yes because Wentz is obviously a much better QB than Foles but at the same time, the game planning that got them here would be significantly different. Foles has for the most part played game manager up to this point. Wentz likes to take more risks and attack down field. Also there’s the age/experience factor. Interesting to contemplate.

    don't think anyone saw this coming. this was a game of big plays. the eagles made a few big plays and then it just snowballed after that. the vikings obviously didn't have their best showing. keenum didn't have his best game, but it wasn't all his fault. part of it was the offensive line. hill, who was playing tackle, is normally a back up, so naturally he's going to struggle.

    it'll be interesting to see what the vikings do with their QB situation in the off-season. keenum, teddy, and bradford are all free agents. i like bradford the most out of all of our guys, but he's not too reliable as far as being able to stay healthy. we might be able to grab someone via free agency. this is a good off-season if you're a team in need of a QB

    i wasn't a big fan of bridgewater even before he got hurt. and now that he's missed almost 2 years, its like he's starting all over again. also, bridgewater has never had a season as good as bradford's first season in minnesota. bradford has played very well since he's been with the vikings. his only issue is being able to stay on the field. i like keenum's mobility, but he's more prone to bone-headed plays than bradford is. in other words, sam is more safe with the ball

    so what's so shocking?
