lmao, that'd be a total waste of an elite defense, but I did just read that right after posting. Looks like the Vikings might be an outside contender, but they'd sacrifice a ton of money that would go to guys like Barr and Diggs next off-season

lol it was on NFL Network last night. I forgot just how slow and unbothered we were with the time running off the clock late in the game. On the first play with under a minute and no timeouts Mcnabb dumps it down to Westbrook, in the middle of the field, for a no gain lmao

so doug pederson is having brett favre address the eagles the saturday before the super bowl.

i know most (if not all) of you are already aware of this, but a QB like cousins hitting free agency is rare. normally, they either get franchise tagged, or the team works out a long term deal. seems like the vikings have an outside chance at getting cousins, but like boos said, it would likely mean that diggs or barr wouldn't get an extension. i don't think we would be able to keep all those guys and get cousins.

I don't want Cousins if Vikings have to sacrifice an important defender, whether it be Barr or someone else or Diggs..If Cousins wants to take a bit of a discount to play on a team that made it far and has a pretty good outlook for the future, then they should consider it.

But the other side of the coin is you're already gonna be overpaying for someone like Bradford, Bridgewater or Keenum, so it's easier to make the argument to overpay for someone who's better than those 3(at least mostly) in Cousins. Having a brand new offensive coordinator this year probably won't help the Vikings case though.

On a side note, if Brady gets his 6th I wont even be mad at this point. Gotta give it up for him. As I've gotten older I realized that I had the privilege of living most of my childhood and pre-adult life watching the greatest player football's ever seen. Still salty about the tuck rule, but I can't lie, Brady is nuts.

Yeah if Brady gets number 6 then to me there’s a legit argument he’s the greatest athlete of all time, he’d have tied MJ’s 6 and if anything it’s more rare to win multiple titles in football than basketball.

Yeah.... I guess... idk. I think comparing athletes in different sports is kinda dumb. Like winning a championship in basketball is so different then in football. Basketball, you have more control over the game where as if you’re a QB, you only control one phase of the game (offense). There’s just too many variables there.
