Fellow people in Boston normally are morons when it comes to football.

This is why i said he's the most underrated player in NFL history. He literally changed our defense when he was drafted.

And top 10 NFL players, are the players that I've watched. I can't really comment on many players before 1991 lol.

If Seymour was a 4-3 tackle/end, he would have set sack records, and probably would have been JJ Watt.

He didn't really play 4-3 until he got to the Raiders though, when he was getting old.

Everyone loves praising Vince Wilfork. Seymour was so much better than Wilfork. Like, it's not even f---ing funny.

I'd put Seymour in the top 3 defensive linemen of all time.

I can tell you, as someone who played defensive end... It is SO MUCH HARDER to double gap than to pass rush from the outside.

And if you play as a defensive tackle in a 4-3, most teams let their defensive tackles s---t the gaps. It makes it way easier to pass rush. Someone like Warren Sapp would s---t gaps.

Seymour was playing a "hit and read" technique, and would sometimes get blocked from the guard in front of him, then the offensive tackle on one shoulder, and the center from the other, he'd also get attention from full backs on power runs and not only wouldn't move, but would push the line back. It was insane.

The only two defensive linemen I have trouble putting him over are Reggie White and Bruce Smith.

You also have to remember, I'm extremely biased towards defensive linemen. I played defensive line, so usually my favorite players are from the defensive line.

Reggie White
Bruce Smith
Richard Seymour
Warren Sapp
Larry Allen

Players that remind me of Seymour are like JJ Watt, Michael Bennett or Fletcher Cox.

Defensive linemen don't two gap as much as in the past though, because two gapping is meant to free up linebackers to make plays against the run, so it's really hard to compare many players to Seymour, but their playing styles remind me of him.

Finally saw the Two Bills 30 for 30 last night.

I loved that they didn't go into the Jets locker room at the end lmfao.

Parcells is such a f---ing boss, but I still hate that he left us after the Super Bowl and then took my favorite player, Curtis Martin, to the f---ing Jets.

Should be a great game, I'm honestly d--- near 50/50 on who wins, slightly leaning towards the Pats but Eagles got a great shot.
