Philly’s offensive stars just came to play. Jeffrey, Ertz, Ajayi, Blount & then to top it off, Foles was just as good as he was in the NFCC. Foles most definitely has earned himself a starting job some where after this post season run. You have to question Belichick’s decision to bench butler too. I mean he wasn’t having a great season or anything but he’s proven to come out in big moments & has played really well in a handful of big games for the pats. Who knows... hindsight is 20/20.

WE WERE 11-2 AND WHEN WENTZ GOT HURT 33TD 7INT AND HISTORICAL 3RD DOWN CONVERSION RATE but Nick foles gets all the credit for 1 good regular season game against the GIANTS sucks a--- against Oakland and what he played in Dallas. Doesn't win us the game against ATL just does his best Alex Smith game manager impersonation and then has two really solid games....and he gets all the credit??? We're trading that scheme driven phony QB for a high pick and I couldn't be happier

You can't really tell me you'd want that to happen??? What would be the use? I understand it's a feel good thing now but the league is a business... We have him under contract for next year and then poof...we need to trade him now while the iron is hotter than it'll ever be Jimmy G about the same age got a second round pick off a couple regular season games...we can easily get a second rounder for Foles rn draft either a LB, someone for the secondary or a LT if we don't think Big V is a long term solution.... Hmmmmmmm have a backup QB sit on the bench for a year and walk in free agency for a deal we can't match or trade him for a potential future all pro we can benefit from for a decade plus??

No f---ing way we keep him. 000000% chance

Are you really comparing a 7 ppg player to MJ & Kobe? Why are you acting like we can’t differentiate between star players & role players? Again, don’t be ridiculous.

I was never discrediting Wentz dumb a---. I was asking a simple question to see if people would regard Wentz as a “super bowl winning QB” despite not having played in the Post season.

Not to mention why bother with the potential drama? If wentz struggles 1 drive people will yell to put foles in and that is a headache we need to avoid completely. Wentz is the clear cut better QB only entering his 3rd year we don't need him looking over his shoulder or having to second guess everything we need to build around him even stronger and go f---ing repeat

Wentz tore his ACL in December, he's the franchise so there's no reason to rush him back. Plus Wentz is still on his rookie deal so Foles' contract hardly hurts us. Having a solid back up is so undervalued in this league. Yea, I'd think hard about trading Foles for a early-mid 2nd rounder, but teams just got Jimmy G and alex smith for 2nd rounders so I'm not quite sure teams will give that up for Foles even though he just had the best post season run of all time. Also, Foles was gonna retire two years ago and I think he loves it here and he's a big part of the locker room. I know it's not up to him, but still.

Anyway, it's starting to hit me a little bit. Just shed some tears ngl

To be fair, Wentz had one great season that he didn’t even get to finish. What if he isn’t 100 percent coming back from a serious knee injury? Also we’ve seen plenty of other qb’s have one great year then fold. Like rg3 and Vince Young. Wentz still has to prove himself and win some playoff games and make it a full season without getting injured.

I’m honestly not sold on Wentz just yet. At least if Wentz struggles coming back next year they could put foles in while they have a Super Bowl caliber team. Let Wentz rest and see what Foles can do if Wentz sucks next season. Now if eagles could somehow get a 1st round draft pick for foles then I would definitely consider getting rid of him.

There's an asterisk next to Wentz for sure since he didn't play this postseason, but the day he got drafted is what turned this franchise around. The culture changed that second. Also the home field advantage Wentz led us to can't be understated. Either way, I have no doubt Wentz will get one or more on his own @Enigma

I don't expect wentz back week 1 but all indications are he's good to go the first quarter of the season. We can get back up even cheaper than foles to auto pilot a couple games and still reep the benefits of whatever we get in a foles trade. You're right he probably does wanna stay but regardless it's only one year. We're not gonna get him for 7mil next free agency some desperate team will offer ATLEAST double annually and he will walk for nothing he has a family and money talks not to mention no way Is he content winning superbowl MVP and then bench riding again it may be great now in the honeymoon stage but we need to move him. I'm absolutely positive some team will waste a second rounder BUF, ARZ, NYJ, DEN, CLE, SOMEONE will I don't doubt it

Vince Young was always a bum I admit RG3 had his moment but that was when the option was at its peak not to mention Rg3 isn't 6'5 250 I have faith wentz will bounce back much better than rg3 ever could of. Nothing is ever a certain or guaranteed but weighing the options

If I were an Eagles fan I'd want to keep Foles around, but wouldn't be opposed to a trade either. Wentz, as good and promising as he is, has a significant injury history and plays a reckless style of football as a QB. I bet Pederson will make it a priority to at least keep a solid backup around, which is why I don't think they trade him yet unless they get a great offer w/ picks. I also think there's a slight chance Foles would sign in Philly for less. Dude was considering retiring and then decided to stay in the league because of Pederson. There's some clear chemistry there and it's really the only city where Foles has found success.
