I started having issues with the satellite signal. Started going out with just clouds. They sent techs out a bunch of times and couldn't fix it, even after a fresh install. Then I got a bill with higher rates, charging me $5 for each DVR, PLUS a $15 DVR in multiple rooms. I was already thinking of cutting the cord but Football was the only reason I kept it. That was the last straw. Dropped from $200/mouth to $50 for PS VUE and I stream my games now.

And I don't like the bars for games because I can't stand most of the people watching games at the bars. They don't understand football and mostly say dumb s--- and I can't enjoy the game.

All 4 of my teams aren’t from the area I live in, but footballs the only sport I don’t get the ‘league pass’ type package to watch the games.

It’s not cuz I don’t want to, I love football and it’s arguably my favorite sport. I don’t have direct tv so usually what I do is put the Vikings game on my computer, watch it from there and have the redzone playing on the TV.

I like going to bars to watch games but I’ve only done it a couple times, and now I work Sunday afternoons so I can’t do that.

an applebees close to where i use to live had nfl sunday ticket. then one season, a few years back, i went there and they no longer had it. the reason they got rid of it was because of a price increase.

so the people annoy you, i understand. i like going to the bar to watch games. you meet people. the people are typically pretty passionate about their teams/football. its more exciting than watching it at home, IMO. but i realize everyone is different--that's just my opinion. the only thing i don't like about watching at the bar is that you usually can't hear the sound/volume, but that's a minor annoyance to me. as long as i can see it, i'm happy :)

stefon diggs gets a 5 year extension. i'm happy he's sticking around, but i think they gave him too much based on what he's done so far. he hasn't even had an 1,000 yard season yet. that said, they're obviously expecting him to do even better in the future and having cousins will probably improve diggs production.

hopefully the gap in the money that diggs is making compared to thielen doesn't cause any conflicts. this also means that it will be a lot harder to keep anthony barr, but its still a possibility he gets re-signed too

Okay, can we talk about how fucken stupid these penalties are:

How imcompompetent is the NFL? They finally fix the catch rule & then they throw in this s---? This is going to cost teams games.

Woah wait , you can stream all the games with ps vue?

I'm looking to get football without cable and I know the Sunday ticket and such is super pricey. I could always stream on Reddit but that's a hassle every time I want to watch a game.

this is one of the best hall of fame classes of all-time. i still can't believe owens isn't attending. he's trippin. i wanted to go this year to see moss get inducted live, but i wasn't able to make it :emoji_slight_frown: i've been to the hall of fame once though---and its totally worth it---and it really doesn't cost that much to go either

Tv satellite companies (dish, direct) are going to be in trouble within the next 15 years. Streaming taking over. My only issue is once in a while, streaming at a friends who doesn’t have a Tv network you can have lags and not as HD looking at times.

Not if they keep raising prices. Honestly the only reason I even have them is for the wifey. I'm fine with Netflix, Hulu, and OTA channels. Still saving money but if they keep raising prices, the price may get to a point where the savings doesn't outweigh the issues like the lag you speak of.

Wow lol. The one pick wasn’t his fault, it went off the rb’s hands. But the other throws were atrocious. If he fails at this I could see him spiral back out of control and back on zans. Which I think is what I read he truly went to rehab for.

The Canada league seems more like college style of playing and I thought Johnny scrambling would be good for him in Canada’s league. But d--- he looked horrible in that clip. I thought he could actually be decent in that league (mid tier qb.)

I’m really excited for the cowboys defense this year man. This is the first year I can remember where I think I’m more excited to see the defense than the offense. Defense played really well in stretches last season. I’m so excited to see these young players grow.

PFF ranked each QB going into the 2018 season. They also did a write up for their rankings here. Top 10 were:

Brady at number 1 when he’s in his 40s? What a f---ing joke. Andrew Luck ranked 7th and he hasn’t played in years? Of course Timmy liked that s--- list.

overall, i thought the list was pretty accurate. brady's age doesn't mean anything because he's obviously still playing at a very high level. Luck is sort of difficult to rank because he's been out for a while. but if he returns as the same guy he was before he got hurt.....he's easily a top 5-7 quarterback--so there's certainly nothing crazy about them ranking him that high.

kirk cousins is going to allow the vikings to finally have a deep threat/down field passing game. he doesn't have a huge arm, but he's capable of throwing downfield with accuracy and that's something the vikings passing game has been missing.

@Enigma how confident are you in Dak entering the season?

If you're drafting a team the only QB you'd consider taking over Wentz would be Rodgers. Whatever, they can keep doubting. Worked out well for all those pundits last time
