So I bashed madden on here a week or so ago and after playing it some more, well i was exactly right. The game sucks, like really really sucks. 2k19 doesn’t come for 2 or 3 weeks still but I’m already gonna trade in madden for a pre-order of that once my work week is over and I got some time.

I read some other feedback and it seems not too many others had a similar experience, so maybe it's just me..But for me in franchise mode, defense is extremely easy and offense I hardly ever score anything besides FGs. Short passes almost never get picked off even if you throw it right to the defender, long passes almost always get picked off. The game I played last night I won 11-3, and no the 11 didn't involve a TD and 2 point conversion, it was 3 FGs and a safety lol. I've had a decent amount of games even more low scoring than that.

Honestly there's a whole bunch of other disappointing stuff too but I don't wanna get into it, those are the main issues to me. Also I'm not one of those guys who b------s about Madden every year, in fact I don't know if I've ever really been disappointed with it before this year, I have realistic expectations but this year's really s----d imo. I miss when I played the old NFL2k games cuz those were such better quality than madden and I'm sure they still would be if they were around. .

*edit* and yea i messed around with the sliders and settings, didn't really help much..the game sucks.

i think the current format is ok the way it is. i don't want to see it get changed. i just get a little annoyed by how long the pre-season is

@Kon thanks for the heads up the game sucks. I was thinking about buying it. I haven’t played madden since the ps2 days where you could throw bombs to Steve Smith for easy tds. I would probably have a hard time adjusting.

I’d recommend mlb the show, if were you. It’s one of my favorite sport games of all time. Since the 1999 baseball game for the ps1. Pretty realistic. There are some flaws where you crush a ball over 100mph (which is usually homerun) territory and it ends up being a hard grounder.

MLB the show is only on playstation right? I got xbox, been wanting a good baseball game for a while now, xbox doesn't even have one far as I know lol.

Oh yeah s---, forgot u only have a a one. I got mine at a cartilages galore store. It’s one of those stores that has all the classic systems, retro consoles, games. I found resident evil 3 there new (the most rare games are behind glass) and had to buy it even though i already owned it. I think it was only like 110$ for the PS4 and came with everything except a headset/mic. But I got a nice headset on amazon for $20 verses the 60-90 dollar ones they have at GameStop.

The only reason some owners and the nfl want 2 extra games for is the money it brings. They don’t care about the players health. I’ve suffered a s-----y concussion running a football one time head on head contact knocked out cold. s----s not fun and major headaches for a few days. And a few herniated disc in my back Ik from football. I can’t imagine these nfl rbs running up the middle getting drilled by 250lb linebackers running 4’5s. And players are only advancing. Look what happened to Shazier.

This health issue is no joke in the nfl and they still don’t take it serious enough. If you were an nfl owner, yeah you would probably want 2 more games. But it’s the players making you the money, and you’re already rich so I don’t agree with this new schedule.
