Rinne was pretty much fine before the 3rd period

Would be pretty mad cos the other guy has played so little the whole season and Rinne has had fantastic playoffs overall.

Think they gotta go with Rinne again for game 3, stick with what got ya to this point.

But I do think they'd have a fairly quick leash on him, 2 goals in the 1st next game and they'd yank him imo.

Pens were 4-1 against Rinne before playoffs even started. The pens have his number and he struggles against them for some reason. Some kind of intimidation factor.

Anyways, on way home from the game and can say that was probably my 2nd favorite penguins game I've been to. They definitely exploded and looked better overall. Feel kind of bad for Rinne getting pulled but doubt I would have pulled him. Probably hurt his confidence more than anything.

However, Rinne hasn't faced a team like the pens all playoffs. This is what happens when you play a offensive talented team. Rinne got f----- up. Extremely embarrassing Stanley cup final hockey by the preds.

d--- @dna hits you aren't even typing like you're wasted or anything lol, thought you'd be all kinds of f----- up by now.

Glad ya had fun though, must have been a great game to be at for a Pens fan. :emoji_thumbsup:

You thinking Pens in 5 or so or what? Gotta admit my Preds in 6 pick looks pretty doubtful now.

@Goldy you go the big screen? We left with 4 mins left to beat the traffic and saw it still looked pretty packed at the big screen. Amazing atmosphere game though. There were 3 predator fans 3 rows below us and one got cocky after their first goal. Once the pens scored a few pens fans yelled at them some chants and it seemed to shut them up for the game lol wish I would have gotten drunker before the game but work in the morning so stopped drinking right before I got in the gates.

I'm not a fan of either team so it definitely plays a part, but is anyone else not really feeling this final so far? Maybe because we were spoiled with such good playoff hockey up to this point this is feeling mediocre.

Maybe the Preds will be able to keep it closer on home ice to make the series a little more exciting.

Lol yeah man nah only drank 6 summer shandys before the game at a place we ate at. Was with some family too and mom knows how I can get after drinking too many gettng into it with other fans so I behaved and didn't want a hangover at work tomrrow.

But I still think preds end up winning a game while they're at home. I just have a feeling the pens will finish it first game back at home. Not too often you see a sweep in the cup which would be cool if the pens could pull it off but idk. Preds probably should have found a way to win last game and it'd be 1-1 now. Whole different series. Being down 2-0 will be hard to come back from.

Only $200 a piece for our seats. We bought 6 when the guy gave us that deal. And they were 2nd level seats. If you wanted first level and right behind the glass you were talking 350-600 a ticket (depending how close obviously.) only $200 for my first Stanley cup game I jumped in on it. Had 2 friends want to buy it off me too but glad I went now

Was expecting to see some good game discussion from earlier to read on the drive home from the game and maybe argue
some. But see barely any posts during the game, d---. This place is f---ing dead.

For hockey related discussion this is actually a LOT more active than it mostly is, even compared to previous cup finals or playoffs.

Other sports, mainly football and basketball have always had far more discussion on here than hockey unfortunately.

Also, as a Canucks fan this Rinne meltdown is giving me horrible flashbacks of Loungo in the 2011 final.
