Aug 27, 2018 Yeah I always thought if someone pissed off eminem enough, maybe he’d snap and he’d bring back the king Mather’s era sound. And I don’t think he really hated trump as much as he lets on, which is another reason that verse was complete garbage and he was gasping for air after every line. I think in his mind the US was going to back him up and thought everyone would all hate on Donald trump. Only for the complete opposite to happen. The Mariah Carey diss was the last song i enjoyed even though he had some corny bars in the song too. I still enjoy dejavu, kinda relate to some of it so I can say maybe that’s the last time I enjoyed a latest song from him?? Also this is past week I came across this for the first time ever. I’m guessing this was made in 08 or 09? For king mathers? This voice and beat works so much better for me and I love the hook. An album where he sounds like this and actually raps on beat I’d be happy. I’m just glad that he knows that revival was a huge flop and that should have fired him up. I’ll ignore that s-----y majesty verse and Royce verse.

Aug 27, 2018 Yeah true, but he honestly did that for attention & I feel like he rushed it too. Atm Em wasn't buzzing until he dropped the freestyle (which I was disappointed on). Hopped on the Trump hate bandwagon like everybody else to regain some buzz, which was a smart move. The freestyle itself was trash though.
Aug 27, 2018 You truly believe he can't flow anymore? He's proven he can many times since Relapse but it is just not consistent. I think it's more f----- up that he can flow like he used to but only does it like 10% of the time now a days. He's too focused on switching s--- up and being complex.

Aug 28, 2018 I was listening to MMLP today. His flows weren't as "complex" per say but it was so much more smooth. His effortless delivery was amazing back then... and I think he could still flow like that today. If it makes sense it feels like he's TRYING to flow or TRYING to impress us with speeding it up or a bunch of switch ups. Eminem's "I don't give a f---" delivery was his f---ing essence. He didnt try to do a complicated flow. He didn't try to force lines.. he was more direct with his metaphors. He did multi syllables but he didn't try to force them every chance he got.

Story wise, content wise, shocking value wise, he tried to do 180 all new style Recovery, then 180 MMLP2, then 180 beard, cheap marketing at this point. BUT. He would sound fresh on a concept album, in which he is a character and the whole album is a movie.
