Mar 6, 2015 Idk but you sometimes say that you like Em's new stuff and sometimes you post things like this lol wtf
Mar 6, 2015 Decent watch, but like everyone else said, just basically old info recycled. Seems like he's struggling a lot to remember certain things. They should have addressed some of the labels failures, like Stat & Cashis.
Mar 6, 2015 Paul's too stubborn to openly admit he did things wrong. He was very full of himself during this interview
Mar 6, 2015 Yup that's what I said. That's what I'd like to hear. Give their side of why it didn't work and be honest. Was Eminem ever actually in the studio with Bobby Creekwater one on one? I find that hard to even imagine. Especially since all the years he was on the label were the years when Eminem was at his absolute peak of addiction. Not to mention their styles are so different, I can't even imagine them on a song together (with nobody else). I'd like to know if they ever did record songs together that got scrapped and are still sitting in the vault. Same goes for Stat and Cashis.
Mar 6, 2015 Creekwater wasn't on Syllables. Cashis was. As far as I know the only song Creek ever appeared on with Em was We're Back from The Re-Up. Em seemed to work with Cashis more than any of the three new guys. Appeared on a handful of songs with him and produced an entire EP for him.
Mar 6, 2015 I still like his new stuff but I dont exactly consider it good music. I appreciate the skill of rap a lot more than most, and I like it in that sense. Like he's head and shoulders above the field in that regard, but I don't find his new stuff to be very sonically pleasing.
Mar 6, 2015 this makes no sense dude.. y would you listen to the new stuff if you dont like it sonically?
Mar 6, 2015 Because I love the technical aspect of it. I don't mind it sonically I guess but I pay more attention to what he can do with words. But I'm never listening to em for good head nodding music these days
Mar 6, 2015 i kinda feel like there is nothing wrong with his new musical sense, that he's very on beat, moreso than ever before, even if he has to -gasp- actually try now, and that "sonically pleasing" is just a meaningless buzzword backed up by a system of self contained dogma. kinda like "brown people" or "valentine's day"
Mar 6, 2015 Dont understand all this hate over a simple documentary that explained 15 years of Shady Records. Everyone expects too much from him and wants to know every detail. Just appreciate what we got lol
Mar 6, 2015 That's my point. Like back in the day tho I mean it was popular and you could nod your head to it. Nowadays taste of most people centers more towards drakes and kanyes so on so forth. Which is fine not hating them, I'm just saying I don't think em will ever be viewed as a overly listenable artist again. But I enjoy listening just because of his technical prowess - something a lot of others don't feel the same about.
Mar 6, 2015 i respect that you, unlike many others on here, respect Em lmao, but Eminem still outsells every other Artist & the MMLP2 was praised from most fans and critics, so this ("I don't think em will ever be viewed as a overly listenable artist again") is invalid lol
Mar 6, 2015 Do u ever stop laughing at things that are not funny. Any opinion u don't agree with u respond with lol or lmao. Grow up u f---ing idiot.
Mar 6, 2015 Well that's true. I was kinda saying for people on THIS forum lol I get your point tho. I love that he still outsells everyone
