Mar 5, 2015 D12 and Obie both went multi-platinum. D12 did it twice. The 8 Mile soundtrack was also a Shady Records album. Eminem and 50 were both diamond selling artists on the label. The label was basically flawless until Proof's death. Then they brought in all those s-----y artists (Stat Quo, Cashis, Bobby Creek), Eminem overdosed, and it all went to s---. He tried to revive the label with Slaughterhouse and Yelawolf but so far that's been a failure. Did either of them even go gold?
