Aug 11, 2016 I bought some blue dream just to celebrate pre season tbh. I find it exciting. I guess really just because you know football season is here. Fantasy draft night gets me a little more hyped for regular season
Aug 11, 2016 Jealous as f---. Can't wait for school to start back up so I can start again. Taking a tolerance break. Might wait to celebrate w/ that Thursday night opener.
Aug 11, 2016 Once I find myself going through an 8th every couple days I take a t break. Yeah hopefully I find more green this good for opening night.
Aug 11, 2016 Speaking of opening night and weed, I already got the day off work and saw the weed store here has 1.5 gram 'cigars' they call em and they also have a joint that's 48% THC (I s--- you not, never heard of anything above 30ish % before this) so I plan to get some of those for opening night.
Aug 11, 2016 It's still a dream for me to be able to walk into a weed shop. You guys have no idea how lucky you have it. People still get set up in my area for 1-2 grams of weed. All illegal. Getting my hands on real blur dream only happened a few times these past few years. You guys probably can get it any day of the week. I remember a tv show in Colorado on a weed shop that had those over 40% joints. And pies thats crust is made with thc.
Aug 11, 2016 I'm grateful for it every time I walk in there man, believe me. It's a beautiful thing. Used to travel 15-20 mins to Oregon cuz they had better s--- than Washington but now this Washington store 5 mins from me stepped it up and has great weed and prices too. I can get a nice 8th for 30-35 bux. *edit* you can even get a good 8th for like 25 but the best s--- is a little more than that.
Aug 11, 2016 I also love watching pre-season football. Watching and evaluating young quarterbacks is always fun, not to mention other rookies and whatnot. @Enigma how you feeling bout the season?
Aug 11, 2016 Looked good, stood in the pocket strong against the blitz, not his fault our receivers can't f---ing catch. Was awesome to see the crowd come alive when he came in. Excited to watch the 2nd half. Chase Daniel is so boring.
Aug 11, 2016 I'm a bit conflicted tbh. I'm defintley not as hyped as I was going into last season (obvi because we had a bunch of success in 2014) but I still think this team can make a run if things go accordingly. I'm honestly scared how our defense is going to look going into the season. The Lawrence/Gregory/McLain suspensions are brutal. It puts so much pressure on our offense to have to execute at a high level and put up a lot of points which they have the talent to do -- I just don't know how long they can carry this defense. The first 4 games are going to tell a lot about how this season goes. If we can start 3-1 (preferably with 2 division wins), get off to an early rhythm like we did in 2014 & go into the bye 4-2. I'll like our chances going into the second half of the season knowing that we'll be getting McClain & Gregory back. Who knows though, going into 2014 no one thought the Cowboys were legit. People were predicting them to be last in the division. Maybe Marinelli can really turn this defense into something and it's not the liability I think it'll be. Turnovers I think are key. In 2014, Cowboys were 2nd in creating turnovers only behind Seattle. Last year we were among the bottom of the league. I've read that Marinelli is telling our DB's to be more aggressive and it's shown in training camp. Hopefully that pays off.
Aug 11, 2016 Don't know if you've been watching any camp footage but the DBs are looking REAL good, especially Mo of all people. But yeah dude, obviously defense scares me. But like you said, going into 2014 everyone assumed the defense would be as bad as ever, and we know what happened. I think last year was actually an improvement statistically as well, so we may be panicking for nothing. Who knows. I do know I'm d--- excited to watch this offense.
Aug 11, 2016 Yeah Mo has looked real good so far this camp. So has Lawrence. I've heard that Lawrence & Smith have been having some real legit battles in training camp this time around. That excites the h--- out of me! Those last two years of training camp with Tyron dominating him are finally paying off. He's getting better and can actually compete with him now. Also, I'm so excited to see Byron Jones in the safety role. That kid can be a real ball hawk for us if he continues to grow. He played his a--- off last season and that was with him playing all over the defense. Now he can just focus on one role. But yeah, obviously skies the limit with Elliot and this o line as long Romo can stay healthy. I still don't agree with the decision to take him but the kid is undeniably talented. My only concern is if he gets hurt which is a very real possibility given how much the Cowboys are planning to run him. I'm not afraid that our running game will go away, McFadden has proven to be reliable back and I think Morris can really excel running the ball too. I just think we'll look real dumb if Elliot goes down for a long period of time & McFadden or Morris come in and excel running the ball just as much as him. We'll look so dumb for taking him.
Aug 11, 2016 @Soldier work. How they looking? I'm sure he will run a pretty basic offense through the preseason
Aug 11, 2016 I just think we could have used that pick to get better else where. I mean... With a player as talented as Zeke it's hard to be mad but.... I just don't agree with the logic behind it. Zeke if he stays healthy gets us what? 1200-1500 yards on the season? I think McFadden/Morris could have landed some where in that range as well. Sure maybe Zeke is a better pass catcher and he's a better blocker but I don't think that warranted taking him top 5 over possibly a stud defensive player that we could really use right now. Idk.... Hopefully it works out. I'm hoping Zeke stays healthy and does perform well. We're going to need him to because we spent a lot to get him.
