Yup they're still dropping catchable passes, it's so frustrating

I think you underestimate how valuable a well-rounded back is. Yeah he's a great runner, and you could argue that our other backs could've offered a similar amount of production, but having a back that's also an exceptional blocker is such an asset to your offense. Not to mention his pass-catching. Yeah no, he was a great pick.

Jamie Collins might be the best linebacker in football. Unbelievable athlete.

Gained 20 pounds and still is quick af.

Hightower and Collins better get re-signed.

His ability to stop the run + his ability to cover top tier tight ends and running backs in pass coverage >>

IDK of a linebacker in the NFL with his versatility.

EDIT: Luke Kuechly is the only linebacker I'd put ahead of Collins.

Just got back from the Eagles game. Wentz looked pretty good except the red zone pick. The special teams looked great again. The defense looked great. The coolest part of the game was the ovation Wentz got as he ran on the field for the first time.

Yea it got rowdy in there when he came in. Even when he threw the ball away the crowd was going nuts as if he just threw a TD lol

vikings play first pre-season game tonight and although these games don't count--it'll be interesting to see how our passing game looks. that's what i'm most looking forward to watching.

@M.I.C. your boy allen robinson had two (maybe more) very nice catches last night. he's not well known right now---but i have a feeling that soon he'll be a household name

    Lol @ that Dez TD.

Great first drive by the offense. Prescott did well. Whitehead is going to be a real unique tool to have. I knew I'd love Morris in this offense and he just proved why on that first drive. Love the way he runs the ball.

Cowboys looking so niiiiiice for the first quarter of preseason. Dak looks sharp, Dez did Dez things, Morris and Beasley made some things happen. And that TD return by Lucky was very nice too.

I'm trying to calm myself because it's only 1 half of preseason football but that's as good of a first game he could have had lol. I wasn't going nuts about his performance at first but then two things he did stuck out. On the drive we got the field goal, he changed the play at the line of scrimmage. He noticed the defense was playing back and there was a gap and immediately changed the play to a run which resulted in a run for 5+ yards. Seeing a rookie do that really shocked/impressed me. The second play that really impressed me which should be obvious is the TD throw to Williams. Perfect ball placement and great gut to stand in the pocket and deliver the throw.

I will say this: if he continues to play well like this, we may not need to sign a veteran QB. Again though, it's one half of football, I want to see more from him with the first team.

Oh I know, def don't wanna jump the gun. To me, I was impressed he took shots down the field at all. Young QBs like to play it safe a lot of times, but he showed some poise and confidence. The fact that he was insanely accurate and connected on almost every throw was just icing on the cake lol
