Maybe he will and maybe he won't. He's certainly appealing on the surface. I don't know him well enough to know if he's got the skill set necessary to effectively run the DNC, but it wouldn't take much to be an improvement over DWS. And Brazile, for that matter.

i know him pretty well--including personally--and while i think the skill set to run that sort of apparatus is something you can't really gauge until someone's in the job, i expect he'll be the best they've had in years. what's more: the symbolism of choosing him is important. you could make a strong argument that the dems might have to s--- it up and swing left.

Alright, that's a fair assessment. Starting now, I'm done with the jokes in regards to this stuff.
Looking back on it, I'll admit that I've said some dumb s--- in here yesterday/everyday for the past week and I'll apologize for that.

Let's put our political differences aside and all be friends again, eh? If Donald gets out of line, I'll be right there with you guys.

I've had this impulse too. The fear is recent history, and a few names: Mcgovern, Mondale, Dukakis. Recalibrating is in order, but lets not go too too crazy either. dont want to lean into punches etc

The worst part about this is that the girl being harassed is a very normal, "Americanized" looking girl and not even the stereotypical middle eastern person. I can't imagine what they potentially will have to endure
