    what complicates things is that Trump is genuinely embarrassing for people. My sister-in-law voted for Trump and she's personally proud of it...but won't admit it to anyone, because she knows she'll be mocked. Btw...we live in Indiana, where he won by something like 20 points.

    I heard projections of 1 in 10 people who outwardly supported Hillary, secretly voted for trump due to the shame behind it. I think that stat may be even higher, but I genuinely don't understand the 'whys' behind it: why vote for someone you're ashamed of? And if you do, then why keep it a secret?...not saying that everyone needs to publicly share their vote, but for those who say one thing publicly and do the other in the booth, I don't get -- shut your mouth and keep it all on the low, or say what you feel.

    Pretty obvious why people wouldn't be vocal about their Trump support, they're assumed to be racist, sexist, etc basically right away by most people. Should have seen it coming that there'd be a lot more support for Trump than expected, I feel stupid for not realizing it.

    Anyways, no real surprise here..

    You Americans are so shamelessly hypocritical. Trump won, and managed to boost your economy before even being sworn in. Yet instead of giving him a chance, you take to the streets immediately. Any damage caused by the anti trump protests won't be on Donald Trump. Responsibility will fall on the media who drove this extremist narrative into people. And if trump does the bare minimum of not living up to the extremes of this narrative then.......

    You will finally be aware of how exposed you are, naked, in the middle of the streets and holding blank signs. In the meantime. The rest of the world will laugh at you for being idiots.


    And lol at anyone who thinks trump protests are good for democracy.
