Aug 14, 2020 Back to Dustin, as I got older I always wanted him to be taken serious especially as his face paint and outfits matured. He just looked so d--- sinister and I thought they could have done alot with him especially as maybe an upper mid card champion or some kind of dominant heel. I wish they would have utilized his talents better
Aug 14, 2020 It made me sad to see 'Golddust' capable of such things. Almost felt like a wasted career despite the sporadic highs he has in wwe. I actually love the Gauntlet idea. Masked members of the Dark Order followed by solidified competitors. I think Cody and Mox are in the same boat where I can't see realistic ends to their reigns.
Aug 14, 2020 Cage could have been had they not rushed them together. That's could have been the Brock and Ambrose story on steroids. I think Page could be made to be a believable competitor and there's already the Omega story to play off.
Aug 14, 2020 I think they lost alot of steam with hangman personally. Hes kinda fizzled for me since the wargames match was being promoted. Kenny is damaged goods for me which sucks bc I definitely dont view him in the same vein as his new japan self
Aug 14, 2020 When Hangman was doing the bar brawl in the stadium match, I was sure he could have been the Steve Austin of AEW but his antics have lessened and he isn't as Cowboy esque as he could be. Omega has really dropped a few levels too. I remember thinking he was the best in the world at one point.
Aug 14, 2020 My one issue with omega is that as amazing as he is, he isnt always the best actor and it hurts him as a performer, to me at least. As a wrestler? Unparalleled with the likes of okada, naito, ishii etc etc. But when he was doing his "losing his mind" thing a week or so ago it was just so cringey to me and I unless hes strictly about business I feel like I'm watching a performance
Aug 14, 2020 I'd love a storyline where he loses his voice and needs somebody to step in for his promos. Doubt that will ever happened but there's a few people who could get him back on track.
Aug 14, 2020 I think his biggest issue in aew is that he has no real competition except a couple guys so they had to. Ting him down (several) levels. It's not like in japan where you literally have a rosters worth of believable opponents for him to battle
Aug 14, 2020 With good builds I think AEW has such a bright future. I am such an Cassidy fan it's unreal. He's by far my favourite wrestler right now.
Aug 16, 2020 Amazing wrestler, how wwe let that man walk is unbelievable. I'm glad he did though I just thought of this. How did you feel about moxley paying homage to suzuki? I dont normally "mark" out but it made me happy to see that but I was disappointed that his opponent kicked out(was it Darby? ) kinda reminded me of ibushi and brian kendricks match where they used the burning hammer for a 2 count
Aug 16, 2020 Didn't he just use it as a signature? I thought he didn't cover after it just picked Darby up, hit the Shift and then covered
Aug 16, 2020 Almost 100% sure he pinned him bc I remember him getting pissed and then drilling him with the paradigm shift
Aug 16, 2020 You're totally right. It evaded my memory. I would have skipped the pin and gone with my plan then haha.
Aug 17, 2020 Speaking of which, I've ways liked the double arm ddt but it always looked so weak. the way he delivers it and the guy selling it, it almost looks like hes trying to end ppls careers. It's almost a brain buster at this point
Aug 17, 2020 The top rope one that ended the first Darby match was lethal. Mox makes it look devastating always.
