Jan 31, 2015 Snyder is great visually, which is a good thing for a guy that specialises in comic book adaptions, but his movies are pretty bad in every other aspect. I hope they don't let him direct a solo Batman film. We haven't had a faithful AND visually appealing live action adaption of Batman yet.

Mar 6, 2015 Definitely looks like they're drawing influence from the New 52 Joker. Leto has potential the be the best on-screen Joker ever (not to discredit Heath's Joker, the Nolan Joker was awesome, shared little with the comic character).

Mar 7, 2015 It's hard to say really. I want to lean towards no, simply because it wouldn't have the same impact as it did in the comics. I'd really enjoy seeing a Death of the Family style storyline somewhere down the line though. I just hope that they can establish a Batman franchise on top of it being a tie-in to the Justice League film. Batman, his rogue gallery, and supporting characters are too rich to serve as spin offs to something more.
