"you're just not politically sophisticated enough"

make a cogent argument for trump or sanders as better presidents than clinton

in my opinion, "r-----ed" and "butt buddy" are extremely good insults that should be used long after your 14th birthday

Literally all 43 Presidents became President without a SuperPAC.

Mitt Romney would have been the first President elected in the Super Pac Era after 2010 Citizens United... you were the biggest Mitt Romney fan on SL with a Romney Avy.

well see that was different--we needed the only governor who had implemented a mandate healthcare system to fight a mandate healthcare system.
it's such a good thing that trump is morally incorruptible and would govern selflessly.

Obviously both had superPACs working on their behalf. But there was a distinction that might be relevant to your interests....

Obama: "I think we need to seriously consider mobilizing a constitutional process to overturn Citizens United"
Romney: "Corporations are people, my friend!"

If this issue was so dear to your heart, your candidate should have been clear. (Hint: not the white one)

Perry is harnessing the power of the low information supporters of Trump's and Sanders' to become a bipartisan super politically illiterate mega annoying Internet blowhard.

Trump has SuperPACs. He is going to use them in the General Election. If you really think he has a billion dollars to throw at becoming President you're stupid. He is a con man that was born rich.

I just thought of something that would help this forum help understand Trump.

    He is Stictches.

He comes from a wealthy family and likes to pretend it was all from his hustle.

He talks s--- he can't back up.

White dude always trying to unseat blacks.

    I could go on...

fdr was backed by most of the wealthiest people in america at a time when campaign finance was hardly even regulated. he also borrowed liberally from his mother's mutli-million-dollar estate to campaign.

So, if you were alive during the great depression you would basically think that FDR and Andrew Mellon were the two most qualified to be President and wouldn't be able to decide between the two... but would laugh at the idea of anyone else being President?

not at all. i'm just pointing out that you're either full of s--- for pretending to care about campaign finance reform over legislative (or national security) issues; or you're dumb enough to actually believe that; or you're dumb enough to actually believe that trump is above super pacs. (why won't you respond to res?)

this is to say nothing of the totally illogical notion that someone who comes from a tremendous amount of money represents the populace better than someone who accepts their contributions.

i'd also point out that "Just because someone is backed by money, does not mean their policies will always be negative," while true, torpedoes your arguments for trump and sanders over clinton.

(rofl at you having to admit the new deal was brilliant in hindsight. you would oppose the s--- out of it if it were proposed today.)

Oh Perry, you absolute moron, let's see how easily this can be dismantled

What does this even mean, first of all? "Something like the New Deal would never happen today"? Many would argue that the stimulus was quite a bit like a modern New Deal. Even so, try expanding on what you even mean here, because it just sounds like you're saying words. "Bill can't pass, because money in politics!"

lol. It's very easy to see your ignorance just by reading his bit of your post. Donald Trump "has not touched that [SuperPAC] money". Well first of all - that would be expected of him, because a candidate coordinating with a SuperPAC is illegal. Candidates don't "touch" SuperPAC money.

Trump hasn't spent any money because the media gives him free coverage whenever he wants. But this idea that he's not getting donations is ridiculous.

It's the second button on his f---ing website, Perry.

Additionally, he's already walking back the idea that he would remain consistent in the general election: http://www.politico.com/blogs/2016-...nd-results/2016/03/trump-outside-money-220613

So pause the swooning for a second and realize that your man is totally full of s---.

I mean......???? It seems like you even realize how full of s--- you are on this one. But just because you make note of it doesn't mean it's excused. On the Dem side, you oppose Clinton for changing positions on issues. It's literally the only reason you listed here as a reason for opposing her. You then mention that Trump has the same problem - and yet he's your choice, over a field with far more qualified candidates? All three remaining Republican candidates (and many before them) are far, far more principled. How do you think this makes a d--- bit of sense?

Trump has flip-flopped on abortion, he's flip-flopped on the war on drugs, he's flip-flopped on gay marriage, he's flip-flopped on taking in refugees, he's flip-flopped on all sorts of health care related issues, he's flip-flopped on all sorts of tax related issues, he's flip-flopped on H1B visas, he's flip-flopped on the war in Iraq, he's flip-flopped on assault weapons. He's flip-flopped on whether or not Ronald Reagan was a good president. HE'S FLIP-FLOPPED ON SUPPORTING HILLARY CLINTON HERSELF. The list goes on - please note this was just off the top of my head, I can't even imagine how fruitful a Google search might be. (Important to note once again, I think, that he's about to flip-flop on the whole self-funding thing, and you don't even see it coming! Cannot WAIT for that to happen)

There's no doubt Hillary has changed a few positions for political purposes - as have most politicians (Obama has done it in a few crucial areas; your man Romney was infamous for it). I personally think TPP is an egregious and cynical example. But in terms of sheer blatant political expediency, she's got nothing on Donald Trump, and to suggest that she's actually *worse* in this respect shows you have absolutely no idea what you're talking about.

All of it is bs? Can you tell me how my list of Donald Trump flip-flops is "bs"? Sure seems pretty true to me. Can you tell me how that screenshot of Donald Trump's website is "bs"? Sure seems pretty true to me.

Wait. So you GENUINELY believe that Trump only takes donations because he doesn't want to offend people by sending their money back?? :emoji_sob::emoji_sob:
