    Has Dre EVER steered you wrong. He never released "Detox" because he didn't want to let down his fans. Found Snoop Dogg, Eminem, Kendrick Lamar and The Game, he also has released 2 West Coast classics and is donating all the profits of this album to a performance arts center in Compton, showing he cares about the music over the money (Despite being rich).

    Man, sit down and listen to the album from start to finish. If you don't the older, more mature version of you will want to kick your a---. Events like this don't happen very often and the way music is these days I can't think of anything similar happening for a long time.

    Do yourself a favour.

    Nah, I like his older stuff (used to be a huge fan), it's just not anything I find myself listening to very often anymore save for a few tracks. I thought his verse on here was pretty good, it's just the only part of the album that feels a bit out of place to me. I also think it's extremely cringeworthy for a 45-year-old to continually talk about r--- in his music. When Eminem was talking about r--- in the late 90s/early 2000s, at least his music was overall compelling and there was some shock value to it (not that it really makes it OK in hindsight). When he does it now, he does it just to do it. It's not funny or shocking or anything. It just shows how out of touch he is. Not even Odd Future talks about r--- anymore and they're half his age. I'm not a huge fan of the dumping body skit either, but at least that has a somewhat "cinematic" quality because it's a skit.

    Still am loving the album overall.

    It's as good as most hip-hop these days while being very modern and still having that characteristical dre's touch in almost every song on the album. It was very hard to achieve and he did it. Also assuming that hip hop is bad nowadays is <<<<
