    badly drawn/animated? smfh. talk whatever s--- you want about DBS, don't say a remake of an anime from the 80's/90's is badly drawn though. so f---ing stupid.

    I might be a bit confused, or lost somewhere... But judging from eps 1 & 2 its set before the 2 new movies. It looks like bills+weiss will be re-introduced to goku/vegeta and they'll get the new god form (most likely the one seen in the frieza movie ?)

    A new series has been long overdue... I can't wait longer for a sub version :kdotcry:

    I'll watch the OG Japanese version, the sub version then the Funimation dub

    Akira has a habit of changing or completely ignoring things he done. Like how the Dragonball Minus manga showed Goku at a later age going to Earth instead of a baby.

    It's supposed to tie into both movies, but like you said in a previous post Beerus shouldn't be awake the time Super takes place. It seems like Akira has forgotten how long he made Beerus be asleep for in Battle of Gods.

    Toei Animation announced the production of Dragon Ball Super (Japanese title; tentative for English release), the first all-new Dragon Ball television series to be released in 18 years. Dragon Ball Super will begin in syndication on Sunday mornings on Fuji TV in Japan on July 5, 2015. No information has been given regarding an international release. Although there is no definitive answer as to where exactly Dragon Ball Super will “fit into the Dragon Ball timeline”, we do know that Dragon Ball Super will, “follow the aftermath of Goku’s fierce battle with Majin Buu, as he attempts to maintain earth’s fragile peace”, and will be, “overseen by Dragon Ball’s original creator, Akira Toriyama”.
