Nov 10, 2015 games s---. not 3 conversations in i berated my robot and got railroaded into taking the dog with me (You're a bit of a fleabag, aren't ya?) and its got that bethesda jank where everything just feels disjointed. gunplay is ok now but melee is still s--- just like skyrim and FO3/NV. already regret buying this tbh i wish i got it on sale and i only just left the vault. so the exact opposite of running good then?

Nov 10, 2015 Just be prepared for some issues. The patches are coming, but it won't be for a while. It's still playable, but some things are starting to piss me off, lol.
Nov 10, 2015 Went to the premiere for this at my local GameStop with my roommate and he got this. I watched him play for a couple of hours and it ended up putting me to sleep. I personally don't like it but he says it's his favorite in the series. But he also said he loved watchdogs and admitted later he hated it but couldn't admit it since he paid so much so it could be the same situation here.
Nov 10, 2015 Have you ever played fallout 1 and 2? I don't know where people get the notion that an RPG game like fallout is gonna be packed with action all the time. You can't just s---t your way out of everything. Ive met a lot of ppl with short attention spans, same people that say that game of thrones is boring and they don't understand what's going on on there. Just cuz your a--- can't sit still an hour without f---ing some s--- up doesn't make it a bad game. This s--- is for a particular audience and somewhere along the way the Reddit,9gag,4chan,tumblr,twitter, and all the other social media wagons flipped and fell on top of fallout. As soon as all the hype came about, I know that a lot of ppl who aren't consistent fans of the franchise will be disappointed.

Nov 10, 2015 yes this isnt even relevant to what I said at all. if anything it's in line with my argument. The only thing that's a positive here is the improved gunplay, but they completely gimped all of the RPG elements. I'm aware you can't s---t your way out of everything, but if you have to manipulate or talk your way out of something it kinda helps to know what your character is going to say. I was talking to the robot after Spoiler searching the neighborhood for your wife and kid after Spoiler: seriously this ones a real spoiler for the beginning if you havent played it watching your wife get shot in the face and your son kidnapped so i knew they wouldn't be there and I picked the option labeled "Useless", expecting him to say "This was useless, let's go somewhere else" or something like that. Instead he says something along the lines of "GOD d--- IT COGSWORTH YOU'RE f---in USELESS" if it's a game where you're supposed to be able to approach things from any angle shouldnt you like, be able to do that then lmao did you misquote me or something because this has nothing to do with what i said well of course, most people who were fans of the first 2 absolutely hated 3/NV. I was a fan of 3 and NV even though they aged horribly and it's pretty save to say they're objectively bad (at least 3 is, NV built on everything 3 did and improved it). they took everything people liked about 3, and either left it the exact same or f----- it up royal. the only improvement is shooting. and to your point that you for some reason tried to make to me, this game is supposed to be an RPG with some shooting elements, but now it's just one step closer to being an open world COD with s--- animations.
Nov 10, 2015 i dont mean to harp on the dialogue wheel but holy f--- it's worse than i expected. in most games with a wheel like this you're going to get f----- once or twice per game. in fo4 i find myself quicksaving before every f---ing conversation incase i say the wrong thing because they're just 2 word descriptions.
Nov 10, 2015 yeah i dont care for them removing it. i do like the new level system and perks so far. Also like that vats doesn't freeze time but just slows it down. Weapon and armor mods is taking time to get used to but i like it. Overall im having as much fun with it as I expected so far.
