Nov 2, 2015 Wait so you're complaining that the options could lead to confusion while also complaining that they made the choices brief and blunt enough to make the dialogue choice obv? Those two cancel each other out.
Nov 2, 2015 i didnt make that mistake. TW3 one got me though. how the f--- am i supposed to know "Shove Dijkstra Aside. Forcefully." means "Punch him to the ground and literally snap his leg in half".
Nov 2, 2015 i think you're over simplifying. this isn't one thing canceling the other out. these are two problems that make eachother bigger. if it was voiced and they had abbreviations, but it was still a list it would still be s---. there'd just be more options for s---. the fact that it's on a 4 button wheel doesn't make that any better. it just means there's less choice in the s--- you eat.
Nov 2, 2015 Entirely new world, entirely new story, astronomically better graphics (even tho that's not saying much), completely redefined perk/skill system that shifts the game in an as-yet-to-be-seen direction, better overall gameplay (again, not saying much). I mean IMO over 50 hrs of new content (at minimum), doubly good graphics and gameplay, and an overhaul to the entire core of the game seem kinda significant but idk that might just be me
Nov 2, 2015 Voiced RPGs have been done well before and flaming an entire game because there might be 3 or 4 times where you have to reload due to a misunderstanding is petty
Nov 2, 2015 the graphics might be twice as good but they're still 1/4th as good as comparable games in 2015. animations haven't changed since FO3. other than the gunplay which i admit looks a lot better, at its core it rly just looks like fallout 3.5. like a dlc expansion with the r-----ed green filter removed and stuff like the settlement mod coming pre packaged instead of having to dl it separate
Nov 2, 2015 "A bethesda game has underwhelming graphics and all the new content is just reimagined mods from the last game" oh wow who would have seen that coming
Nov 2, 2015 lmao 3 or 4 times. the game isn't even out yet and already there's a plethora of screenshots of these simplistic dialogue options that are [Glass him] tier. Support News Hate Newspapers Sarcastic etc and its not even out yet and the only story cutscenes that have even leaked yet are the pre-war s--- thats literally the first 15 minutes of the game
Nov 2, 2015 Yall are complaining about 30 minutes worth of gameplay..... This f---ing game will take countless numbers of hours to beat. NV had a lot of s-----y technical problems but it didn't stop that from being a great game. Just shut the f--- up until the game comes out and then make a decision
Nov 2, 2015 I hated F3 when it came out and it took me years to come back and enjoy Skyrim, I'm far from some Bethesda fanboy, I'm just saying every complaint being voiced so far, barring dialogue mishaps, has existed in an even worse state in the other games. What you're doing right now would be like complaining that rain makes you wet. You should know better.
Nov 2, 2015 if it wasn't for the "15 THOUSAND LINES OF DIALOGUE!" they've been basing their whole marketing campaign around i'd think this went into production in 2014
Nov 2, 2015 thats the problem lol like mano said. they're supposed to FIX things that are wrong. rain will make you wet and there's no way to stop that. bethesda can easily fix their s--- games
Nov 2, 2015 id be expecting quite a few. already in the leaked videos theres the dog running which looks like its a lower frame rate than the rest of the game some how, the dog catching on fire and calmly standing still, the wife says something in one of the cutscenes before you enter the vault and her mouth straight up just doesn't move. and that's only 20 minutes of leaked gameplay. so yeah itll be a mess for a while.
Nov 2, 2015 oh not to mention the bug on E3 where they had 2 white parents and the baby was still black. that was an actual press event demo build designed specifically to show the game off in a good light that had a glitch in it.
Nov 2, 2015 After 5 games pointing to the fact that they're lazy why would you expect the contrary? I don't disagree at all but you've spent the last two pages masquerading as Captain Obvious. "Bad graphics and annoying, easily-fixed glitches" are so ingrained into the Fallout and TES core that they should be put on the bullet points on the back of the case, not some stunning revelation. Now, pointing out doubts with the new dialogue system is perfectly healthy criticism and seeing as I hadn't followed this game since E3, it was helpful to know and I plan on looking into it to see if it would effect my desire to get this game, but the rest is pointless whining.
