Yeah, I get it. I don’t think he was trying to push anything harmful but the idea of American soldiers doing “god’s work” is a bit…weird to say the least lol. President Biden needs to expand and explain his plan more... but he has indeed called out China for violating human rights against the Uyghurs and said that America will reassert itself as the leader of Human Rights on March 24th.

You have to remember in March of 2017... Trump was working on his plan to create a registration of Muslim Americans and had won the Presidency on basically saying he would nuke the middle east and do war crimes against innocent Muslims.

because joe biden, like most american politicians post-ww2 but increasing decade after decade, is invested in the expansion of the american empire into regions where:

a. there are natural resources to seize and exploit

b. there is an opportunity to fully gut a country’s economic infrastructure—one already decimated by decades of american sanctions—and use it as a free-market playpen

c. there are years-old grudges to settle

d. the people aren’t white

e. there is the vague notion that it might be militarily advantageous to use the country as an outpost in the future, and—this is as crucial as anything else—

f. the federal government can pump untold billions of dollars into the defense contracting industry, artificially juicing its favorite shadow economy and avoiding virtually all international scrutiny and oversight
