    @NJPWBros Bryan Alvarez & Meltzer talk about how this year 'is by far the greatest year of matches in wrestling ever' and how it's only halfway over. Also says that the first four nights of the G1 are easily the best start to a G1 ever.




    Can't say I disagree...just an example my favorite run ever was Austin in 2001 and I was debating if Okada's year was better MONTHS AGO....add that with NJPW being a thousand times better down the card than WWF in 2001 and it's no competition....G1 has just started and the year isn't even over

    It's incredible and I'm loving it

    This comes hot off the original Hot Topic deal, which put the standard BC, being the elite, and American nightmare tees in their stores. The result in no more than a month later resulted in Hot Topic signing on for additional shirts as well as stock for every store in the United States due to high demand

    Meltzer has been on record stating that the Bullet Club, specifically The Young Bucks, sell more merchandise than all but WWE's top 4-5 stars.

    thanks everyone for the quick response! imma start with wrestle kingdom 11 i guess its japans version of wrestlemania to start the year. funny seeing some names on the card and im like their still wrestling? also didnt know roh mingled with new japan. i usually go to whatculture wrestling and they even said japan is having the best year in pro wrestling today so imma bite and see how it goes.

    You'll come to love Ishii if you watch more, I was thought the exact same thing. NJPW went through an awkward phase in the mid 2000's where they were bringing in real fighters to have s---t fights against other wrestlers. Saw Ishii in the same way as someone who only gets by doing basic MMA s---.

    Definitely one of the best wrestlers in the world right now.





    The bottom one vs Shibata is one of my favorites ever, barely ten minutes long. Check it out if you get the chance.
