I wouldn't be so sure. I mean, they turned a profit sure but to completely fund between three people renting the building, booking and travel for all the talent, pyro, set, etc. I'm sure they spent a TON.

For sure, but at least 300k for the house, the $40 Starrcast panels, the advertisers and Fite/WGN deals, a few hundred grand on merch. PPV sales. For as much as I love the Bucks and Cody, they're too smart not to have came out of this thing on top and definitely played up the over budget thing.

@Pinhead @Big Dangerous I was reading an article that claimed that with the new foreign owner of njpw came kenny omegas win over okada. Not saying he didnt deserve it one bit but I'm curious if you guys think he would have won that night or if njpw would have made him wait longer

I do think there was something up. The story was pointing toward wrestle kingdom. Instead, a lot of white guys picked up gold that night. Even Kenny said he didn't expect it to be so soon I think.

Then again the champ never drops the belt at WK so maybe it was the planned time

Ah, it doesn't matter when you realize omega would've had the belt forever ago had AJ not came to NJPW.

Besides the Okada/omega story payoff was plenty thought out, he won the belt an entire year after the draw at dominion '17, they gave it plenty enough time to breath

Not giving it to him last year worked out perfectly in hindsight, but I would have been pretty upset if he didn't win this year. Obviously the chase could continue, but that would have killed a lot of the hype and winning when he did kinda put him back on Okada's level, whereas a loss would have knocked him down a peg.

It's given us a new wrinkle of Okada's character and the few jobs he did after boosted zsj and Switchblade. It's been so perfect I couldn't even imagine another scenario.

Tanahashi. He told Meltzer that one of his last goals is to main event MSG, and going into that as champion would be one h--- of a sendoff. I had already moved on from him as the ace, but that G1 final performance was one of the best I've ever seen from anybody, so I'd go with that. Have Okada square up with Jericho then Naito with Ibushi.

If not, then Okada to square up their record. I feel Naito has to win the title from Okada for his chase to really be complete.

All In apparently did around 20,000 internet PPV buys, with Fite grossing over a million dollars this weekend between all they did. No number out for the actual PPV. Way above expectations so far, and the 180k or whatever for Zero Hour was fantastic for WGN.

T Shirts alone were at 500k, all merch that was brought there was sold out.

I really hope none of these guys go to WWE man. Even in NXT they will be neutered completely but that being said ROH really has to step up in terms of talent. Say Cody & The Bucks leave that means you've got Jay Lethal, Briscoes, Bully Ray, Colt Cabana, Dalton Castle & Flip and many of those guys are on the latter part of their careers

ROH lucked their way into the Bucks becoming a main event act after Cole and AJ left. They'd be completely neutered without them.
