Apr 2, 2016 its not that hard to see this kid has maad talent props to top for signing him so young (i think he was 15)
Apr 3, 2016 Although I liked it to an extent on TPAB, I really hope he doesn't use those kind of beats on his next album.
Apr 3, 2016 same. it's good for one album but I hope he changes it up for the next. I mean I'll probably still enjoy it if he does it again but I'd prefer something different
Apr 3, 2016 He was put into a mental institution after a nervous breakdown due to mean comments on this forum. Guess he wasn't "2 Sane" Haha.
Apr 3, 2016 This. I'd be sad if he was to switch up his style... plus he has the best musicians in his camp, he has no reason to change and its by far his best music
Apr 3, 2016 Dw kendrick isn't stupid, he's most likely going to use these kind of beats on his next album. Thundercat & kdot are already working on new music and thunder said kendrick knows jazz music has to be his major influence.
Apr 3, 2016 I hope you're right. the production on tpab is literally the reason why this album is so beautiful. It is a very dense album the rewards multiple listens. Like any record with great instrumentation you find yourself gravitating to multiple parts of it, finding new things, etc. Really reminds me of my favorite jazz albums in that sense. Kdot stil lamazing when hes rapping over traditional or mainstream production but it's less spectacular quality wise.
Apr 3, 2016 I'm always right. Also Kendrick seems to care about his legacy and making the best music possible more than having radio hits which is a good sign. I really don't see him trying to compromise his work to please the masses
