Jun 29, 2015 yeah 2nd episode was deff better than the first. i enjoyed it. confused af @ that ending also, the vince vaughn monologue was cool and all but seemed so f---ing forced at the start... him and mcadams are my favorites tho, they're both killin it to be fair they're all doing well in their roles, i just like those two the most ^
Jun 29, 2015 I wouldn't worry about the end of the episode. IMDB has him in for the entire season. Bean bag rounds maybe? Only real issue I have so far is Vince Vaughn. Dude is completely out of his element here.
Jun 29, 2015 I feel he is playing his role very well. One scene that stands out is when he walked up to the guy after he got pepper sprayed. Not that it is a stand out scene but he pulled off what was asked of him very well and has been throughout the first two episodes
Jun 29, 2015 Even so, has he been asked to do much? He's by far the character I care about the least. Every time he would pop up last night I immediately wanted to get back to McAdams/Farrel/Kitsch. Whether the problem is with how his character has been written or how he's been portrayed, he doesn't seem to have much of a purpose right now. Leaning more to how he's been portrayed after that monologue. Terrible.
Jun 29, 2015 I was pissed at first but after rewatching the scene I'd bet anything he's not dead. I'm guessing it was bean bags/rubber bullets and it's the beginning of Ray's redemption arc.
Jun 29, 2015 nah i think he's going a great job so far...Taylor Kitsch is the most dull for me at the moment. Vaughn and McAdams >> he's defintiely going to have a greater purpose..this entire fictional city is built on the type of corruption that he seems to be spearheading at the moment. he has farrel in his pocket, and isnt afraid to remind him, etc
Jun 29, 2015 I agree he hasnt been asked to do much but i feel there is a build up there with him that his character is working his way in there to possible be a big factor of the show and seeing how unpredictable the writers were from last season i would say that is a good possibility
Jun 29, 2015 Yeah, fully expect him to be given more as the season progresses. Just makes for some imbalanced viewing at the moment when we go from him to the other leads. Even if I thought he was doing a great job, he would still be taking too much time away from the other characters. Not very interesting at this point.
Jun 30, 2015 Hm possibly. Maybe both? He said he almost punched a gay guy for coming onto him and I took that as a hint. There was no reason for that comment otherwise I feel. PTSD seems more likely than anything else for sure though but I wouldn't be shocked if some sort of sexual assault has taken place in his past. We know his family is pretty screwed up too. There's loads of options tbh... That's the sense of mystery I was talking about.
Jun 30, 2015 When his girl asks him about the scars in the first episode he says he got them before the war, so his past is definitiely f----- up.
Jul 6, 2015 I almost started it on the first night it aired, but I got distracted. I haven't watched a scene yet so far, or heard a word about it. Could somebody just quote me, and tell me how it's going so far? Does it feel like it will be as good as season 1? What about the opening credits, I'm really curious about that. Did they manage to out do the awesome intro from last year? (They couldn't have kept the same one..?)
Jul 6, 2015 I really enjoyed that episode. I would have been pissed if he lived from real bullets but i like how they played that. Vince Vaughn once again shut down all the people saying he cant do this role. It is really starting to pick up. Im still pretty confused though, no idea how this will play out
Jul 6, 2015 Opening scene was great, but I feel this was the weakest episode. It was relatively boring.
