Jan 25, 2015 Average show, horrible ending. Great world title match though, but someone else should have won the rumble.
Jan 25, 2015 Mike Killam @MikeKillam ยท 32m32 minutes ago Worst Rumble ever. Has nothing to do with Bryan or Reigns. Just god awful booking, and the worst eliminations in history by Kane/Show. Sort of agree, this was definitely one of the worst rumble matches I've ever watched.
Jan 25, 2015 Lol Bryan is so overrated. Glad to hear he didn't win. But there's no way in h--- Reins should become champion at royal rumble. I'd rather see Batista over him even.
Jan 25, 2015 It's usually not this bad, this was a Philly crowd. it's usually like a 70-30 positive reaction. It's kind of like Cena reactions except people care a lot less because Reigns isn't interesting. It happens because his push has been obvious for a long time, it's forced, and he's still bad on the mic and mediocre in the ring. Reigns missing time really didn't help things and WWE could've changed the plan but Vince has had this in his head for a year.
Jan 25, 2015 So glad I'm not going to Mania, considered going for a while since it's not too far from me but no way I'd be excited about a Reigns/Lesnar main event.
Jan 25, 2015 Yeah, I'm glad Bryan didn't win. You don't put Lesnar on this year of destroying everyone to lose to a midget, you just don't.
Jan 25, 2015 The pre-show match was entertaining. The 3 other tag team matches were forgettable. Triple threat for the title was great. The Royal Rumble was entertaining, but when they threw out Daniel Bryan the crowd s--- all over it after that and it really pulled people away from the rest of the match. There was still good spots during the match, but there were also bad spots. In the end, I'm not even mad that Roman Reigns won the rumble. I was dead set on him winning the rumble last year if Daniel Bryan wasn't in it, so I don't see why it should change anything a year later. Yeah he's still kinda green, but you can't get anywhere without taking risks. Hopefully they turn Reigns heel though, it's not gonna work otherwise. The crowd I feel is still gonna s--- on him.
Jan 25, 2015 Horrible PPV and terrible Royal Rumble. Even though the RR match takes an hour, that's no excuse to give up on the rest of the PPV. Only the world title match was aight, but the other matches were GOD AWFUL. Even the WWE Title match was overbooked with too many AA attempts and too many near falls that devalued in meaning as they happened. Now the Rumble match, it's fine to have the PPV in Philly because they are a great wrestling city and very vocal crowd, BUT you must play the game and book carefully (especially after a weak card). Miz and Truth are probably the 2 worst #1 & 2 entries in recent memory but FINE, Bubba Duddley was a nice surprise that played into that decision. Bray Wyatt dominating was good and at this point there was still hope in this match, I thought for sure they would play off his feud with Ambrose but that never really happened. Ok so you know DBryan is super over and fans want to see him especially after last years Rumble blunder, so easy booking move, you keep him for the final four-five-six. So believe it that the moment that DBryan is eliminated this match is done for! At the same time they screwed Reigns because with DBryan in the match, they wouldn't of minded the Reigns factor. Huge issue with this match was the lack of main eventers, so at least make it all young superstars. Ambrose and Wyatts elimination at the hands of Big Show and Kane was just more terrible booking. Ziggler another super fan favorite was no used to his full potential, then again the Big Show and Kane were in the final 4, ouch what a disaster of a Rumble...OH NO! Rusev still in there!?! Too late the match has officially been s--- on lol...The Rock showing up does not save this match at all either. "We want a refund" chant was very appropriate...it's easy booking job, just listen to the fans and give them what they want. DBryan and friends didn't have to win, but give the fans some hope to play with. Final Six should of been Reigns, Rusev, Wyatt, Ambrose, Ziggler, Dbryan. I hope SCSA confronts HHH on the podcast about this.
Jan 26, 2015 That's really not the problem though, it's how they go about setting it all up. There was really no other choice to win the RR tbh, so it doesn't come to a surprise that he won...he's there golden boy now, and there has been worse golden boys (Miz) and worse RR winners (Batista last year).
Jan 26, 2015 Thank me later (be fast) won't be best quality, looking for better quality EDIT: The whole PPV right here
Jan 26, 2015 Cena/Rusev and Reigns/Brock? Not the best start to Mania, Cena will probably give Rusev his 1st L.
Jan 26, 2015 @Balzter , do you think it's the worst rumble match in recent memory? Can't think of a worse one.
Jan 26, 2015 Royal Rumble complaints are justified after watching the Rumble match. The irony is last year they wanted Reigns to win, now they don't. Daniel Bryan's fan base must've all teamed up to takeover that f---ing stadium. & Kane's been so repetitive on Raw ever sense he got the Corporate tag, that I can't even appreciate old Kane smh. Somebody needs to come up with something so Kane doesn't end his career as the guy who f---s up every match that could've otherwise been tolerable/good/great/classic. I would suggest Kane going overboard about the Rumble thanks to Big Show, threaten to bring back the Brotherhood, make it happen and make his last match with Undertaker which would lead up to Undertaker's last match with whoever should deserve it. Big Show's time is running out too btw.
Jan 26, 2015 Jesus Christ, where to begin. The Rumble has been f---ing awful for the past four years now. Outside of Bubba Ray this Rumble s----d a---. The title match was fantastic but it ends there. I knew Reigns would win, but I thought they would at least book it a little better than that to not make everyone else look like complete s---. Ziggler just got completely f----- over. Comes in at #30 and almost immediately gets eliminated. Bryan and Ambrose also had very anticlimactic eliminations. And really, the last four were Reigns, Show, Kane, and Rusev. As if they couldn't have made it any more obvious who was going to win. So, now let's talk about WM. Is this what WWE really thinks the fans want to see? Reigns vs. Lesnar for the title? Bryan would've been perfect. Imagine coming back from an injury that everyone thought was going to end your career only to win the Rumble, and defeat a former UFC heavyweight champion on the grandest stage of them all. Would've told the perfect story. Tell me who's going to give a s--- when Reigns defeats Lesnar. He's already been booked like Superman since the Shield split so it's not like it's going to be a shock. Just f---ing wow @ how out of touch WWE really is. The fans literally spell out who they want to see face Lesnar and they just completely ignore them, thinking we can't make our own decisions so they make them for us. This is last year's Rumble all over again. You think they would learn. They realized their mistake last time and changed the main event at the last minute. Won't be surprised if it happens again because the fans will s--- all over this main event if they go through with it. And lmao, The Rock couldn't even get the crowd to cheer Reigns. The look on his face was priceless.
Jan 26, 2015 no they didn't they got behind him when it was either him or batista because everyone was shield marks at the time and he was the only alternative after bryan didn't enter.
