It’s the classic WWE ppv pattern of having a great top of the card and everything below that sucks.

AJ/Bryan, SD Women’s 3-way, and SD Tag Team 3-way should all be f---ing great. Everything else, except maybe Fin/Drew will be s---.

You’re right about WWE being in a s-----y place right now...they are so f---ing lucky they didn’t have this ratings free fall 6 months ago.

There is no way they get $2.2 Billion in tv rights fees if they did. USA would have still kept Raw, but for probably 30% less. More importantly Fox never would have bid for SD for 1.9million viewers and SD would have ended up on Amazon getting no exposure to make new fans.

There hasn’t been a better time in the last 25 years for a new promotion to start up and take fans away from WWE and we know there will be one that will be giving it a serious try next year.

The WWE product may be the least interesting it has in a long time but the wrestling business itself in 2019 is going to be the most interesting it has been since 2001.

I remember when they started bringing in more n more of these weird name ppvs n s--- n i got weary of it then.


I liked when it was

New Years revolution
No way out
Bad blood
Judgement day
Vengeance
Great american bash
Unforgiven
Taboo tuesday/cyber sunday (i actually liked cyber sunday lmao)
Armageddon

s--- like that

All this s--- started with vengeance:night of champions

The next year it became night of champions, new years revolution was gone and the year after THAT... The great american bash was renamed the bash..... and the start of a new gimmick ppv era was kickstarted with "EXTREME RULES" like "yea so cool... wonder what kinda matches will happen on that ppv"

Then night of champions was changed again to clash of champions n so on and so forth

Bottom line is these ppvs have become an abomination

And for f--- sakes just put the MITB matches on the WM card and get rid of that stupid f---ing ppv.

He used to wake his then-wife up with a gun to her head, and tell her that next time it would be loaded. On multiple occasions. He also beat her shitless. Diana Hart claims he used to drug and anally r--- his wife too (and shared tips and techniques on how to drug her with Jim Neidhart) but this has been contested.

He broke his neice's kneecaps for insurance money.

He was known for being a d-ck in the ring too when he felt like hurting his opponent, stiffing guys to try and injure them for no percievable reason.

He was also a bully in the locker room, going way too far with his ribs and doing s--- like cutting people's ring gear or clothing to pieces, once swapped Davey Boy's steroid needle for milk and let him inject it.

He always admitted himself he was a nasty piece of s---. h---, most of this is detailed in his own words in his book. He's also said in recent years that he has no regrets about anything he did. f--- that guy. Just f--- him.

Fun fact: this is the second time I could’ve went to Smackdown this year (first being in New Orleans and then last night in STL) and decided against it. Both shows ended up being headlined by AJ vs Bryan

Following his match at WWE Crown Jewel, Shawn Michaelsdid an interview with WWE and indicated that this was a one-off return to the ring:

“This was a good reminder why I didn’t do it for eight years and why I won’t do again, if I can possibly help it. Monday night, Shawn will be back at the P.C. We’re going back to our regularlives. It was a lot of fun to do but I’m glad it’s over.”

Well looks like Shawn is done again..I guess that's good, but it makes this whole thing even more pointless. Plus the talk was this was gonna set up HBK/Taker down the line. I wonder if that was the plan and they changed it cuz of how the match went, or if that was never the plan in the first place?

I feel bad for him honestly, what a mess this was..Hopefully he's happy with his pay day at least, but man what a disappointing way to go out, as opposed to WM26 where it was the perfect way to go out.

Wow man... I never liked the forced roman push. But there is no denying he has had some absolutely amazing matches. It's gonna be weird not seeing him every week. Cancer sucks here's to him beating it again.
