He (or should I say, his position) may have been greatly responsible for why I quit watching wrestling

But somewhere in the back of my mind I respect John Cena one way or another

Hm so TNA is pretty much done. I figured this was coming for a while now. I'm not sad or anything because I don't watch it but I really hope the majority of the roster doesn't end up jobless. There's only a select few guys WWE would probably sign from there. Matt Hardy is probably the only guy they really want. Kurt Angle could've come back long ago so I don't think even he is a sure thing.

Funny how like 3 times now the talk after smackdown has been about a segment on talking smack and not on the actual show. Kinda smart move by WWE tbh cuz people seem to think the stuff said on talking smack is more 'legit' so it's easier for them to sell a certain idea or story that way.

Haven't watched smackdown in like a month unfortunately, but I'm going to a house show a week from this saturday.

It is more legit though. It's a half-s---t that allows more real promo practice and character developement than Raw and Smackdown combined and it's actually good because the commentators aren't talking heads and the talent aren't being fed fake scripts

Wtf, that's bs god d---...My idea of going to the rumble will have to wait I guess, still hoping to make it to one someday..Been to 3 Manias, 2 summerslams, plenty of other PPVs and shows but never a rumble and those seem real fun live.

Definitely not going to Texas for it though lol.

I've been looking up old Booker T videos and whatnot. And him and Goldust were seriously the greatest underscored part of The Ruthless Aggression Era. Every f---in' segment was full of gut-busting laughs. Book proved he had drawing power in both WCW and WWE. It's a shame that Vince made a mockery of his legacy. I kinda hate Vince for that. And also for saying, "What's up, mah n-----!", to him on camera for the whole world to see. It's like he always felt like he was a joke. This MFer is a legend. They f----- DDP's career up the same way. If you're Black, but you're not The Rock, no way can you prosper in WWE without making an absolute fool of yourself like King Booker and Kofi Kingston in New Day. Kofi has to go solo and turn heel at some point. He deserves a f---ing World Title Hunt, at least. He deserves a big win. Vince is a savage tyrant. What a bigot-y b----. *Dave Chappelle Voice*

That PPV has still not been topped. Neither has this match in their series of three matches over three different Wrestlemanias.

Kofi was supposed to win the money in the bank 2010 but his famous randy Orton botch derailed his push. The crowd booed hard when he got eliminated in that years royal rumble too as he was a favourite to win. He was over huge back then

Tbh, as it somewhat ironically pertains to both Kofi Kingston and Randy Orton, I was under the impression that Kofi had been considered huge and remarkably over since his Sole Survivor win at Survivor Series over him in particular in 2009.

He was. Guaranteed he'd be a world champion by now has Orton not pulled a hissy fit over a mistake

So, you know how I've lately been praising Triple H/Paul Jean Levesque for all that does to curate and help executively produce the representation of the qualitative talent that is often displayed on NXT and all? Leave it to The Youtube Archives to remind me of why I truly actually hated the f--- out of him when I was in my early adolescent. years of living It all started with what I like to Call The Game's Inglorious Burial World Tour (Which must have lasted like 2 years too long because I stopped watching after Summerslam 2004 because Nick Dinsmore was really killing it for me. By the way, no way that's really his girlfriend I see him with on countless bio pages.). And all it took was starting with having RVD job out to him like a b---- when we know d--- well who deserved to win at Unforgiven in 2002. That whole PPV was a mess though. Then Kane with The Katie Vick Angle. Then the awful Scott Steiner feud with the candidate for worst match of all time culminating at Royal Rumble 2003. Still can't believe that s--- was on the same PPV as The best Chris Benoit vs. Kurt Angle Match. It all only got worst with the f---ing Booker T match @ Wrestlemania XIX. When I just knew Triple H was going to let go of the title. But no. On top of a f----- up feud with a lot of vignettes that included some suspiciously discriminatory dialogue deliberately blurted by Tricky Ricky and Mr. Trriple Aitch-Oh-Em-Oh.

Super happy to see Sasha get the women's title back. I've been so burned out on Charlotte dominating that title.
That said Charlotte has improved an incredible amount the last year. From her promos to in ring. Everyone was so blown away by that corkscrew moonsault to the outside and justifiably so but that's nothing new... Charlotte is legit one of the best workers in WWE male or female rn. I may be burnt out but I do hope they don't fade her into the back to hard, she's great.

That said the Bayley v. Sasha matches to come...

Looks like the 2 main events for the house show I got Saturday will be a triple threat with AJ, Cena and Ambrose then also Orton/Wyatt.

Miz and Ziggler are advertised to be there too so sounds like basically all the regulars will be there, should be a good show.
