    So WWE were supposed to bringing back Bad Blood on July 9 as a Raw PPV. However, for whatever reason, the event is now titled as "Great Balls of Fire." Brock Lesnar is confirmed to be defending the Universal Championship at this event.

    Sorry @Raziel I have to move the conversation here because that NJPW excel database f---s up my phone lol

    Yeah NJPW are scripted just like WWE matches but there is an emphasis on s---t fighting. For example slight spoilers, Shibata does real head butts. He busted himself open on Okada in that match an actually got put in the hospital following the match with internal bleeding on his skull and it's looking like his career is over now.

    i agree. Head butts have no place in wrestling I think they should be outlawed internationally but NJPW (and other Japanese promotions) don't really care about the health of their workers.

    Now a MMA styled match with lots of elbows and knees is fine with me these guys are professionals if they want to up the ante to put on a better show then that's their choice

    It's a d--- shame. The guy was at the peak of his career and put on a h--- of a show and is one of the best in the world

    But those head butts are just disgusting. Like imagine if he hurt Okada with that too.

    Yeah that was an insane match. Jesus christ. Shibata beat the h--- out of Okada, I didn't feel that okada should have won based off of the lack of damage inflicted on shibata. That's the only part I didn't like. It sucks to hear that his career may be over. He was really intense

    Lot of people link it to that. He took a lot of unprotected steel chair shots and drops on his head throughout his career too.

    Idk man. Only Shibata match I think is truly great is the WK10 match with Ishii, because the match story gave the shooting style a purpose and made it entertaining throughout the match.
