This will be the first wrestle mania I don’t watch in a long time. There’s just no matches that grab my attention. I cant believe they’re really going through with Reigns beating Brock.

They had Reigns lose matches on raw previous weeks to elimination chamber but has him win the chamber? People still hate the guys guys and his wrestling skills, mic work hasn’t improved the past year. At this point, I couldn’t give a f--- less if the company fails.

I understand Raw is due for a full time champion, but not Reigns. Even Braun has more momentum and gets a better reaction out of the crowd. Yeah I think Braun just destroying people every week would get boring but With Reigns I won’t even bother ever checking out the main event shows or checking with the wwe in general.

And let’s look at the other “big matches” the Styles match will be a great athletic match but I’m not really interested in the match.

The next big match we have the all mighty Miz vs the same people he’s been beefing with for months. Boring.

And HHH/Steph vs Ronda/Kurt. This match will definitely be underwhelming and will be a flop imo. We all know Ronda isn’t ready to be wrestling full matches and I don’t want to watch her go in the ring and her main moves are a stupid KO punch and a lame spear like Reigns because they’re not talented in the ring. She’ll beat steph and by summerslam or at ss they’ll have her go on a long reign.

And what they’re doing with Kurt is f---ing cringeworthy. His responses the other night were laughable. Honestly can’t believe it but they even managed to ruin Kurt for me. He was a top 5 favorite of mine too. Why not just let him do his own thing on the mic instead of following a script? Kurt from 2001 had some of the best times ever getting a crowd furious and good with promos.

I have mixed feelings on Undertaker being possibly out. It'd be cool to see him live as I've never gotten the chance, but if last year is anything to go by, he definitely shouldn't be wrestling. I've never seen Mysterio live either, and he looked to be in amazing shape at the Rumble so it's most definitely the better match up. And just a week or so after the NJPW matchup against Jushin Liger. Him and Y2J changing the game

Here's the thing, unless WWE finally grants him a release, all this time with him sitting on the sidelines his contract is just frozen and not expiring. The same reason why Rey Mysterio stuck around so long years back, and why Daniel Bryan is currently doing the GM role on Smackdown

If he were to be granted a release, he would have a 90 day no compete clause, which would allow him to do indy shows aren't televised but would pretty much eliminate him from appearing on NJPW, ROH, Impact, or anyone with TV until after the 90 days are up. Of course, there's nothing legally they could do if he broke that, he just wouldn't receive a severance package.

If he were to just stick it out until his contract expires, he could go anywhere he wants immediately. For example, say his contract expires on January 3, 2019. He wouldn't really get to do any promotion for it, but he could wrestle for the Jr. Heavyweight title at Wrestle Kingdom on January 4

On my WrestleMania re-watch, I'm now watching WrestleMania 14, the show that started it all for me. I was a wrestling fan beforehand (though my memories are hazy because I was so young) but this was the one that really hooked me. The only Mania post-14 that I haven't seen is 23.

Also this interview with The Rock about what he would do if he was president (segment from WM14) is definitely going to get used against him if he does end up running some day lmao

But seriously, I've been following him for over a year now (mainly because of his Dragon Ball content as that's what he's popular for.) His videos are being posted all the time in the Dragon Ball thread because of how reliable he is and his sources are... This is not the first time I've posted stuff from him in the wrestling thread. For instance, He was the first to report on the Kevin Owens & Sami Zayn walking out from SD incident before anyone else and I even posted his tweet about that here. He's got reliable sources. He's trustworthy. He's a big deal tbh.

That Rey Mysterio bragging vid for example just screams tryhard fabricator. He was so cocky because MELTZER reported a Rey story that lined up with what he says. Now Meltzer says different and whoops, guess he's gotta cover his a--- now? Just too suspicious.

Whereas we KNOW Meltzer has sources.

After struggling through the first few WrestleManias, I no longer despise WrestleMania 16 (aka WrestleMania 2000 aka A MCMAHON IN EVERY CORNER).

The event had Hardys/E&C/Dudleys Ladder Match, Jericho/Benoit/Angle, the fatal four way main event wasn't bad just a little long. It just sucks that neither Austin nor Taker were on the show, but injuries happen
