naw I think a decent amount of people will be pulling for Brock. I've heard a lot of people say they're sick of Kofi's title reign or find it boring.

I hope and think Brock wins. I'm just wondering what that means for the PPV 2 days later...gotta assume they set something up for that.

It’s funny with Brock, once he wins the championship everyone loves him. Months later Kofi type fans say Brock is ruining the WWE and someone needs the belt who shows up full time. Everyone wants Brock to be the the champion over Kofi, at this point. Kofi had his shot. He was supposed to draw a new audience and help raise smackdowns ratings. He did the opposite instead. Smackdown ratings hit their all time low with Kofi as champion. And him with the New Day is so cringe I have to turn the channel. They celebrate like its some 3rd graders birthday party and say and do the most cringe things. Orton should have the belt now. It would increase ratings. But I’m sort of glad Orton isn’t champion just to lose to Brock within a month.

I’ve said this in the past and was right, Fox wanted Brock on their brand to increase ratings and to be champion. They probably wrote up the contract this way. Because rumored inside sources a few months ago claimed Fox wanted Brock as champion on Smackdown or they were going to pull out of the contract, since Smackdown was producing record low numbers. Love or hate Brock, as soon as his music hits the stage, fans erupt into chaos and are desperate to see him live. His name sells tickets. Him being confirmed on a show makes old wwe fans like me tune in to watch him. He increases viewing numbers himself. And from what I read, I don’t think Brock will be just a part timer. I think he’ll be appearing almost every week for a while once they move to Fox.

And honestly, Brock is already financially set to where he doesn’t even need the wwe. The wwe is majorly lucky Brock still agrees to wrestle, when he doesn’t even need to. Without Brock, the wwe ratings would keep getting worse and worse. Bringing the Taker back once in a while isn’t even helping numbers much. Also I do like what I saw online with Bray’s new character. He gives me vibes of the early Kane but with his own persona. It’s very cool how he enters the ring with the lights off. It’s now his time to go over Rollins. Rollins is just too stale and they’re running him down everyone’s throats like they did Roman for 4 years. Bray needs the raw belt and I believe with how good his promos are, he will draw more views to raw than Rollins. Ik id tune in to watch Bray, but not Rollins. The wwe are making necessary changes before AEW starts airing. I love Jericho a top 5 favorite of mine of all time. Love his promos and is so talented in the ring. I’m going to try and get into AEW’s weekly shows, but I’m not interested in watching nxt tbh.

Probably gonna end up going to the rumble in January, f--- it..thinking of getting tickets tonight. it's been one of my favorite PPVs for a while so wanted to go, plus WWE's not bad now imo and should be getting better with AEW starting up. That'd be 3 PPVs I go to in a year, d---..got h--- in a cell next weekend.

I wanted to visit Texas at some point anyways so now's a good chance, atmosphere should be lit in that huge a--- baseball stadium. @Sign Language i know you aren't a big fan anymore but you gonna think of going at all? probably would be fun.

Pretty excited for Raw tonight. I’m ready for the shows to have their own unique rosters again, though. Can’t wait to see the new set however, that’s always one of my favorite things lol

Yeah I'm excited to see how things go, this is a big week for wrestling..even just on the WWE side of things, we got like 4 shows this week lol, raw, SD, NXT and h--- in a cell.

anyways i'm officially going to the rumble, woooo! got a pretty good spot I think, big a--- stadium of course but I think I should have a decent view..in the 100 level.

Honestly even though I bash the WWE a lot, if we had a royal rumble in PA or Va i would go. It’s one live event i wouldn’t mind seeing. I remember as a young kid “the peak of the wwe 98-04” how excited and usually good the royal rumbles were. You really had no idea who may win and didn’t seem as predictable as it is these days.

Yeah I went to Royal Rumble 2012 and even though most people s--- on the event I had the time of my life. I remember Sheamus winning shocking all of us because it seemed like a lock that Jericho was going to win

Opening went on for too long, but good. Crowd was excited and it felt fresh. Commentary was legitimately fine. Show layout and matches were what they were though.

Typical WWE to advertise an awesome dream match, only to deliver a nothing angle to get - of all things - Lashley and Rusev in a program.

Yeah not a fan of that Rusev/Lashley/Lana arc. I don’t doubt that Rusev and Lashley will put on some good matches, I’m just so sick of love triangle storylines

Raw was alright, expected a little better for how much they hyped it up..also hate that there was nothing else announced for HIAC, gonna get to see a bunch of throwaway matches on Sunday apparently.

You don’t like Lashley? I like him more than Kofi tbh. Go on YouTube and watch TNA Kurt Angle vs Lashley for the championship. They were both in their prime then. No lie all 3 matches were 5/5 matches. It had me guessing the whole time who was actually going to win. Honestly worth watching for any fan that likes technical wrestling, not outside help. Just a great 1 on 1 match. Their 1 on 1 matches at that time, are better than any wrestlemania mania championship match that I can remember in the recent past. I think you can watch them on YouTube. Maybe I’ll try and find the link for you.

I watched raw a little bit when the Steelers had commercials. I can’t watch those weird looking tag team matches. I saw where Miz had Hogan and Flair. Hogan looks about the same. Some sag in his muscles but looks like he could maybe still wrestle a match or 2. But I always found him overrated and never understood how he was so big in like the 80s with that lame atomic leg drop as a finisher. I loved that Brock scene beating up Rey and his son lol I missed it originally. But later they replayed it and Paul spoke for him.

Also on FS1 tonight I looked for it., and at 9pm they have Smackdowns greatest hits. And at 10 wrestlemania legendary moments for anyone interested. I just saw AEW starts tomorrow at 8 already on TNT. I’m actually curious to watch it. Jericho is still one of my favorite stars and love his gimmicks. I like Omega’s wrestling and read their tag matches are better. But if Cody is to be a major star for them, that throws me off a little bit. He never impressed me in the WWE.
